The word "work from home" means you use your home as an office or work place. So long as one can be creative, I believe that there are tons of home based jobs. So, let's pun on our thinking cap, what can be done at home?

Besides what's already been mentioned, there's child care, typing and proofreading papers for college students, selling on eBay, selling books on Amazon, working on web sites (coding, SEO, graphics, etc), make and sell crafts, do surveys, do customer care service from your home and sell photos. I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of right now! Oh... there's a place called Fiverr (I think) where you can offer all sorts of services for $5 a shot. It's interesting and might be a good source of income.

Hi Jlyn10 yeah this is a real business where people have to make an investment. However the return is huge and very self rewarding. If a person is into personal development material then this is the business to get involved with.

Good idea. But what if one only knows how to create a simple website and he/she doesn't have any certificates to proof that he/she is good at it? Can he/she still apply for a freelance job on that? I know that these days you don't really need to study so much on that cause there are ready templates to be used. Thanks for sharing, vlawrence!
