The word "work from home" means you use your home as an office or work place. So long as one can be creative, I believe that there are tons of home based jobs. So, let's pun on our thinking cap, what can be done at home?

Besides what's already been mentioned, there's child care, typing and proofreading papers for college students, selling on eBay, selling books on Amazon, working on web sites (coding, SEO, graphics, etc), make and sell crafts, do surveys, do customer care service from your home and sell photos. I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of right now! Oh... there's a place called Fiverr (I think) where you can offer all sorts of services for $5 a shot. It's interesting and might be a good source of income.

Wow, so many things that can be done. Fiverr ... sounds like fun. Have you tried it? Thanks for sharing all those good ideas, peavey.

No, I haven't tried it yet, but I will sooner or later. It sounds like fun to me, too! :)

I think most people will choose to operate online stores. From to sale of goods to make money.

Yes, I agree very much with you. I also intend to have my own online store soon. I'm still undecided on what to sell.

Hi Jlyn10 yeah this is a real business where people have to make an investment. However the return is huge and very self rewarding. If a person is into personal development material then this is the business to get involved with.

It doesn't explain much about the products on that site. My guess is that you have to buy something first before you get to make money. Thanks for sharing, gesmithNS.

You can do anything when youre at home actually. If you know how to create website then you can apply for online freelance jobs.

Good idea. But what if one only knows how to create a simple website and he/she doesn't have any certificates to proof that he/she is good at it? Can he/she still apply for a freelance job on that? I know that these days you don't really need to study so much on that cause there are ready templates to be used. Thanks for sharing, vlawrence!
