Birthday Alerts on FB

I like the birthday alerts too! I have many friends on Facebook, but I don't really get to chat with all of them (many I do not consider close friends). So at least knowing their birthday gives me an opportunity to say hi and wish them well - for that day anyway! Otherwise, I'm good with birthdays with my close, real personal friends . . . but I'm glad the reminder is there to warn me not to forget - ha ha!

yeah its very useful because I never remember anyone's birthday and this helps enough to let me get a quick post a birthday comment or call or text some aquintance. :)

Hello there! I like Facebook very much. I agree with you, it is a very BIG help the birthday alerts! Although I'm good in remembering my family and best friends birthdays, I can also say happy birthday to not so close friends!! When its my birthday I get a lot of notes and that really cheers me up a lot! Have a nice day!!

Hi there francis_ferns I must admit that's one of the good things about Facebook for us not good at remembering dates. Yahoomail or gmail is another thing for keeping us reminded that a particular FB friend will soon have his/her birthday.

Lol. Me too. I'll check facebook and see a birthday alert and and will say- "oh, i forgot. i need to wish them a happy birthday before the day's gone". Also Facebook helps me to remember names.
