Summer is fast approaching, it's going to be vacation time for those who are working to take advantage of the holy week. Companies will mostly likely take this chance to conduct team building or company outing to strengthen employee rapport. If budget is approved we would be lucky to have a company outing this summer that's why I would like to solicit suggestions and/or recommendations on resorts and beaches that can cater to a hundred to two hundred employees, you may include room rates and your personal experience of the place. The budget is not that big so please limit your suggestions to zubic, bulacan or batangas area. Thanks in advance.

200 is not yet fixed since there are still people who would prefer to stay at home with their families than take advantage of an all expense paid vacation. That's the main reason why HR is trying to organize the outing as early as possible to make sure that every thing's covered. Bataan is already out of the picture since according to a colleague the sea current along it's coastline is unpredictable so we're trying to be safe but we're considering zambales or batangas.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm sure your hubby enjoyed his stay here. Davao is a lovely place especially the beaches but it's too far from Manila. It's about 700 kilometers from where we are so going there is not an option. Not only it is expensive on the travel fare alone but logistics of organizing one to two hundred people is already a nightmare.

Try Munting Buhangin in Nasugbu, Batangas. I went there last quarter of 2010 and they do have the capacity to accommodate 200 people. Their employees were very friendly and they have a place for games, programs such as obstacle course.
I rented one of their villa. It has 2 bedroom. One with matrimonial bed and the other with 3 double-deck beds. Both have an air-condition. It also has a living room, dining room and kitchen. Utensils and cooking ware were also provided. Cost is almost 5K. Can accommodate up to 15 pax.

Does it have to be in a beach? You might want to try Lake Kaliraya in Laguna. It has sports equipment and facilities ideal for team building activities. Plus, the food there is great too! They have more than enough rooms to accomodate your big contingent. I hope you'll have a great summer activity. Good luck!

I think a beach with a swimming pool would be ideal. The last company outing we had was in Batangas, the resort has it's own beach but the water is too muddy to swim but it didn't ruin the outing since the resort amenities and it's own swimming pool made up for it. But I'll recommend lake Kaliraya and see how it goes. Thanks!

Hi, Ybong.:)
Looking forward to an early vacation, huh.
If none of our kababayans' suggestions look appealing to you, I can only suggest that you browse the websites of some good resorts in the areas you mentioned. My husband goes to these places a lot but since he is out right now, probably be back later tonight, I can only suggest this to you.
But , the best place I think is the batangas area. I've seen a lot of good resorts there during our joy ride last two weeks ago.

Batangas is a good choice, We've had several company outings in that area already. The last one we had was in Mataas na kahoy, i just forgot the name of the resort and we had a blast but that resort is too costly now for our budget target so we're looking for more affordable and still offer good amenities.

I would like to recommend matabungkay beach resort in Batangas, or beaches near san juan. It's around two to three hours from Manila. It's been a few years already since we've been there so I don't know the room rates but I'm sure there are websites that you can get all those informations.

We've been to matabungkay, it's got nice location, nice amenities. The only concern i have with it is the water. it's ground water is already too salty, so imagine taking a swim in the beach and when you take a shower it's still like you're bathing in sea water.

Wow good planning my friend.. Actually only one place I always offered and others known about Puerto Galerra in Oriental Mindoro but as you said budget constrain. Another place might be not yet famous but differ from other because if your purpose is for the whole company that is the best place because, they have meeting room, bar, pool and butterfly sunctuary and others however it is only resort name Benilda Resort in Bancuro Naujan Oriental Mindoro, if you can I can guarantee you a discount. It is not ours but we have small connection to the owner. And can be cater more than 500 guess. tell me... see you around

Thanks for the offer visavis, actually the option of going to puerto galera has been raised unfortunately it was refused. Moving a one hundred or two hundred people from one place to another is already a bit of a challenge how much more if you have to ferry them from one place to another? Personally I would really love to go to puerto galera since i haven't been there, maybe in the future but I guess it won't happen this summer. If you have any other suggestions, don't hesitate thanks!
