I am listening to the theme song of pearl harbour by Faith Hill while I am posting this topic.I think this was a good movie and the story in there has historical basis and something suitable for today's world as well.i think we should never underestimate our enemy ands should always be alert and prepare to fight for our freedom and liberty.Although the both pearl horbour and the 911 case had became history now but the lesson and the emotion that shocked the world is still there.Of course , we all want peace and no more wars. But the fact is that sometimes war is nescessary for defending peace and freedom when we have no other choice. What 's your opinion and share with us?

I like the movie of pearl harbor too. So much to learn. In my country, if they hear the words pearl harbor, they think of MacArthur who liberated my country from oppression. Others think of the world war II.

Oh yes Irene, definitely. General MacArthur's famous word " I will return ".and he did with his army to liberate the philippino from the oppession of Japanese invasionduring the second world war.it was a glorious history and almost everybody knows that. Frankly speaking, the Japanese government during world war 2 has trying their best not to surrender even the atomic bomb blowed up according to one of the National Geograhic program I have seen in TV. The emperor of Japan and some of the highest official at that time were still struggling for their surrender evern their people were suffering atomic bomb effect in two different cities already.Even now, the right wing Japanese government still refused to admit their wroong doing and war crime in the second world war and always pretended that it has never happened before. it really made people mad in Asia sicne the people from all over Asia suffer the most from the Japanese terrible act in the second world war. Japanese as a whole and may be their cultural problem is that they just can't admit that they did something really bad and really wrong in the secong world war. They are still trying hard to push their army back and hope that their army can be active again in the future.I jsut don't know what to say about this country. It seems that they have a very different thinking pattern from other countries.Even their civilian always tried to stay away from this topic and try to escape from the discussion if they are not right-wing people.I really hope that they can really learn from the past and not trying to make anymore trouble and suffering to others countries anymore. Well, just don't know what to say about this country. So I prefer not to say things about it anything further from this comment. Bye now.Have a nice day Irene.

I've not seen the movie Pearl Harbor and because of the fact that it was a long time before I was born I really don't know a lot about the events of that day. However, when the attacks on America happened nearly 10 years ago I was coming into my own as an adult and I was all too aware of what was happening that day. I don't think that I've been the same since that happened. I see that there is evil everywhere and I really don't take things at face value anymore.
