do you make money writing for helium?

i have been writing for helium for about a year now, and i am very happy with my experience. However, i am finding that by doing many searches online, there are few people that are as happy with the site as i am, especially after the december 2010 changes that were made. if you write for helium, what do you like or dislike about the site, and how have your earnings been going thus far.

I have not use helium for writing but some of my friends are using it and they told me they are very happy with it.Although some changes were made in dec 2010 but still it is good site to earn some extra money.

I haven't really made a lot of money on Helium, I don't really like the new system because I have no real incentive to keep writing there because I used to fill in empty titles to reach payout. I'm too busy writing a backlog of reviews for other sites but I'll eventually get around to writing for Helium again.

Im a member of Helium but I find the site somewhat complex and confusing when it comes to what can make you eligble for the earnings. What I dislike the most is the fact you cant make your own article title easy as with most other article sites...
Can you inform me about what they changed in december?

Hello, and welcome to MyLot. I've been writing for Helium for more than three years now, but it's only in the last year or so that I've really earned well from the site.
I didn't like the December changes at first, but now I wuite like the new system. It means that those who write the best articles are rewarded, rather than those who are quickest to write to an empty title. My earnings are actually going up now, as there are more high paying titles and all of my articles are either purchased or transitioned for credit.
