Meditation relates to daily Life!

Meditation helps me to just witness the stressful things.It really helps to see them from a distance.In meditation we acknowledge that we are thinking but try not to follow the thoughts.
I planned and took action for things to happen.I found myself very upset and angry when things didn't go exactly my way.I wanted to stabilize and strengthen my mind,not become a slave of those things or habits,thats when i started meditation.
I found a litte bit of change at way i approached things,I started feeling content.
I would like my fellow mylotters to share their experiences if any.Thanks.

hello murtuza,
I am happy that meditation actually helps you. Well, for me, i'm not that focused or something like that to meditate and all. Usually whenever i try to do something like meditation, i end up sleeping! Lol! So, whenever i feel that i'm not getting sleep, meditation too helps me. Well, we don;t call it as meditation exactly!
I'm pretty lazy enough to meditate! I hope to learning meditation in the future if at all i could learn it some how. However i feel its not something others can actually teach you! It should come from within yourself! Which i certainly lack! :D
Just look at some comedy clips and laugh your heart out, you will feel relaxed. There's no other medicine better than a good laugh which hurts your stomach!

Hi there,
Meditation does help,if you do it regularly.Early in the morning are the best times to do meditaion,if you do it late in the day sleep is definately taking over.
One can teach you the different ways of meditating,on focusing on your breath,object or visualising,but concenterating is up to us,how long do we sit and focus.
I to am a big fan of comedy flicks be it movie or tv shows,but after having a blast and feeling relaxed,when you are facing certain situations which are not in your control,meditation helps to keep in check those sudden outburst of emotions and feelings,which otherwise would have let you in a differnt outburst alltogether :)
