Homosexual, are they acceptable in the society?

Nowadays, there are many homosexual in different states or in different countries. do you think they are now acceptable in the society? i have lots of friends who are homosexual and they are so good to me. they are fun to be with. they turn my blues into rainbow. everything is fun and happy if i'm with them. are they acceptable on your country/state? in our little community, they are free to do what they want. they can practice their independence. and i thought they are acceptable here in our community.
