Do your friends status's bother you when they are really spelled wrong?

Lately I've been seeing two of my friends status's spelled so wrong it's sad. I feel like it makes them look bad and a little stupid and it makes people from our area look bad too. For example: When more I talk to you and more strong feels I get tours you and when I look into your eyes makes me lift up like I'm in haven! OR I'm am happy. Girl in hole why world! With the advances of spell check you'd think you would at least try to check it to make sure you are spelling things right. Those are just two examples of a lot of posts I've been seeing lately. I understand typos, but some of them are clearly just wrong. So does it bother you? lol

I have to assume these are younger people. I have a couple friends like that. One of them is my age, I went to school with her, another is like 20 and a high school drop out without a GED (not that it means anything because smart people drop out too.. I'm just saying). Sometimes I have to remind myself, maybe they're typing from a cell phone which isn't always easy, especially when adding in commas and periods and stuff. But I know what you mean, it does make them look stupid! It's kind of sad.

The one I used the posts from is my age, we were in the same grade in school. The other is a year or two younger than me. I think sometimes they do type from their cell phones sometimes. But while it isn't easy, it also doesn't send it before you have time to look it over and make sure that it's right. If I'm typing on a cell phone and have a typo, I fix them as I go. I guess it's just a pet peeve of mine lol

Yes! Honestly, I tend to just remove those people from my feed. Unless, of course, they're a legitimate friend. But if they're going to type like that, the odds of me being their friend is slim.

I just ignore. I know a few people who just can't spell, who are really nice, and really smart. But it bothers me in the back of my head. :D

Oh my..yes..a status would bug me if it were that badly spelled..lol. I do have typos but there is the option to remove that status once you notice it. It can always be reposted correctly or at least a bit more correct. I am not exempt from typos..I have them all the time, but it's usually when I am in a hurry..if I were able to change them when I noticed them..I would.

Well, I know I have my share of making spelling errors - especially on myLot. But on myLot we can't edit once we post. On Facebook, you can delete and fix it - but still I don't fix my errors unless it totally changes the context. It doesn't bother me when others make these spelling mistakes - I do the same thing I'm sure. Most of us probably type really quickly, so it just happens. But yah, it's kind of sad when they're really BAD mistakes. I will say still it doesn't bother me as much as when they do the text speaking on their status - I hate that. I have a friend who does that on all her messages too and it drives me nuts!

I try not to bother myself with such small things. It is pointless to ruin your health because somebody is not educated enough and cannot write 3 word without making 10 mistakes.I just laugh at them.Well of course sometimes I am afraid not to start making the same mistakes because when I see something written in the wrong way let's say 5 times a day I began to worry.
