is exclusion of Mark Boucher from World Cup squad justified? he is the best wicketkeeper and involved in many historic wins of south africa, it was going to be his last world cup, isnt it true that he deserved a chance in the world cup squad?

Yes it is true that he deserve a chance in the squad. But I think the as team management of south Africa have taken this decision, there must be some issue regarding this. Also it give an opportunity to a new player to prove himself for the future.

I don't think his expulsion is justified, but the fact that he hasn't featured in many of the recent one-dayers is a sign that his career is coming to an end, and that he needs to hand his gloves over. AB de Villiers may not be as skilled as he is with the gloves, but that will come with time. It's a shame that he had to bow out of the squad like this, one only has to look at the send-off that Ntini has had to see how it should be done.

agree with you, apart from all his contributions behind the wicket, he was part of many historic matches......he deserved a chance
