What is this world coming to?
I for one and pleased with the inception of wikileaks. Some one ought to do it so why not them?
Bringing to public light, these truths of basically corruption is long over due.
The latest being a former employee of a Swiss based bank, Rudolf Elmer, releasing eye popping documents to Wikileaks itself.
These latest documents reveal people in high places basically fudging the books so to evade taxes! Claiming the information pertains to about 40 politicians and others.

Often times the website Wikileaks.com will be down.
If you wish to explore further a good point of entry would be this mirror site, most helpful when the main Wikileaks site is non operational, obviously due to political reasoning.

What are your thoughts on Wikileaks in general and how does the release of all the latest documents, including those from the Ex-banker?
Have you visited Wikileaks? At all since the publishing of the damming documents, shedding our Worldly governments in a light that basically is allowing for true colors to shine.
What do you think of Wikilinks?
When I first visited, when the government documents from classified to secret were released, I found the information appealing and interesting but no so much that which could paint those behind the documents as corrupt. I haven;t seen any documents to that respect yet. Although some information was truly astonishing!
I feel that these latest documents will prove to be more damming that even the rest.

There have been plenty of stories from other media that have exposed corruption etc. All I see Wikileaks doing is leaking documents that aren't really showing any guilt on anyone's part, Most just show that people don't always agree.

Lol, msinfo, you got that right.
I am happy for sites such as Wikileaks. The more exposure, the better.
re: laker: It is true however that this type of info can and usually does conclude that not everyone agrees, which is fine. I figure it is the point that counts.
Thank yo for your response(s).

Wikileaks is a great media organization. They are willing to release things that some other media outlets won't touch but Wikileaks maybe the first Media outlet to push the very freedom of the press that at least in the Online World and in the United States/Western Nations people get to enjoy for the most part some varying degree maybe.
The issue is governments are Blaming Wikileaks for all the issues that security leaks on their end gave to Wikileaks. Luckily for Wikileaks at least in the United States their is no charge that could be thrown against the organization. (Veitnam Papers as the Presented for that last statements as back up.
They are kinda like some other media groups like the Onion for example which is a completely fake news company even more so than the Daily Show is as they just completely make things up.

I love Wikileaks. I love anyone who stands up for human rights. We the people should not be lied to. The truth will set you free and I, for one, value freedom.

I think secrets are more dangerous then anything else we face. So the people that bring the light to these is a treasure. I know this is not always a popular stance.
But it is mine.
