Well I noticed that people just can't stop looking at feet and they will just keep on looking that's why every time I wear sandals or open toed shoes I always make sure that my feet are manicured because I know that people will stare at them. Is it just me who thinks this or am I going crazy or something.

LOL, ANIME123
I have noticed that people stare at my feet and others also. I don't know why they do this. Maybe jealousy, maybe seeing if they are neat, or maybe they like what they see.
I too am one who always has her toes nails neat and pedicured as when I look at my own feet all neat and polished it gives me a great feeling. I have heard a few times, especially on the radio, when it first starts getting warm that the female dj says alright ladies, sandal time, make sure you have those toe nails polished as I can't stand seeing the crusty nails with last years polish on them.

No one will want to look at my feet because of the surgery I had. Left a scar. My foot doctor wants me to wear mostly athletic shoes. I guess I need to find some special ones.

Having a manicure is always good, but it does feel weird when people stare at ones feet I almost feel awkward so I just look the other way and let them stare at my feet because they are nice and neat and I have nothing to hide, but recently I have been forgetting to put lotion on my feet so that they won't get all ugly I need to start working that, but yeah it's always good that we have our feet nice and ready to show if we were sandals.

I do not notice this, I think it may depend on where you live. Of course it is winter here, so people cannot look at much besides boots. In the warm weather a lot of people wear flip flops and sandals everywhere they go and of course they keep their feet nice looking and get pedicures. Lots of people like to look at pretty shoes, though.

No you're not crazy. I also noticed that. And I'm also one of those people who like to stare at feet. I guess most women do, that's why the shoes company made a great fortune. For me what I looked for is what kind of shoes, sandals, flip flop people are wearing and not focused on the toe and nails, unless the person toes and nails are in really bad condition that will attract my attention. Good day.

I like to look at people's shoes and I hope there aren't many whom I've freaked out in the past. In fact, when I'm waiting in a line or have nothing to do at the mall I sit down and look down and look at people's footwear. So, naturally, I notice dirty toes.

I noticed that too, kind of strange
but I don't care lol sometimes I don't even do nail work on it in summer
some years back someone commented my feet are ugly
I was going to tell him, 'well stop looking at them'
but who cares lol my husband doesn't care as long as I am healthy

Well, you learn something new everyday. Women buy millions and millions of shoes. They only have two feet!!! My answer has always been: Men aren't looking at your feet!! You don't need that many shoes. Hmmm?? Now You are telling me that I'm the only one not staring at those feet. Hmmm??

If I feel boring when talking with someone, I will look at his/her feet frequently, but it doesn't mean I really love to do that, just don't know what else I can do except lowering the line of sight to the other's feet. As you said, if it is really true, I think I should alway keep my shoes clean.
