Do you honk people when it's your fault?

Today, I was driving to the store and I am going to make a right in the intersection {it is my right away to do and I don't have to yield to anyone obviously except if there is someone walking across the intersection where I am going to turn into} but a car coming from the other side making a left into the same exact intersection HONKED AT ME. I was so pissed, they were cussing and flicking their finger at me. It is my right away to make a right. They are the one who is supposed to yield for cars. So do you honk people when it's your fault? I don't, I would shut up and deal with it.

yes, you did have the right of way but i never trust the other driver so i usually pay carfull attention to traffic before i make a turn. if i am in the wrong and somebody honk's at me or flips me off, i do my best to ignore it but if i'm out driving and someone cut's me off i usually lay on the horn and (sorry to say) flip them off! I do admitt that i suffer from a bit of "road rage" at time's but there are alot of idiot's on the road that probably shouldn't even have a driver's license. You could probably say that i am a "defensive driver".

Hi there,
Yes I did pay attention. I singled, turned & then all of a sudden he hurried up and tried to turn then honked at me. It's his fault he didn't look to see if there were on going cars. I can't just stop to let him go when I'm already in the middle of turning - pretty stupid. He looked like a kid who just started driving trying to impress his girlfriend or something.
I get pretty mad when I'm driving as well.
Thanks for sharing.

And exactly, if it's your fault, deal with it & not honk. That guy was just stupid. I was making my turn in the intersection & he just turns in & honks at me. He's the one at a yield.
