Have you dated someone with a different race?

I'm white and I've dated blacks, Asians, Native Americans for different races. But none were really serious about dating me long term. Mostly just curiousity.

Hiya kimiko, Dated someone of a different Race yes. My Husband is Spanish we have loads of Family problems but we are still together after all. For me he is the one and the only one. Good luck with your Boyfriend as well hope you stay together too. It is not easy sometimes the less the Family interferes the better by the way.

Hi. kimikohime. Yes, when I was in high school, I dated a Mexican guy. He was really sweet. I mean really sweet. He ended up marrying an African American girl that was from high school. It was fun being around him he made me feel so comfortable and appreciated. He was the only person in class that was very kind to me when I was mistreated by almost the entire class.

I have never done this. But, as I grow older I'm starting to think that it might not be a bad idea to branch out of the box. I have dated someone who was from a different culture than me. The relationship had its good and its bad. But, lack of understanding and communication was a big problem.

Well, I'm Asian. And I dated a Caucasian guy for many, many years. And guess what - he's now my husband! Hee hee. Well, we're both American . . . so we share that culture which gives us that common ground. But I'm also second generation Japanese . . . my hubby is literally only familiar with his American culture, though he is Scottish (and of other "Caucasian" cultures). We don't think of each other as "of different race" for the most part - but perhaps that is because of where we live - there are many "mixed" couples and cultures melding together here.

dating with a different race is normal,all that matters is what you feel for the person you love. it doesn't matter what other people say or think,if you feel something for the person whether he/she is not the same race as you are,whether he/she is pretty/handsome or not..all you need to know is how you feel that person.anyway its just dating first,just enjoy yourself in knowing the person.
