Finishing what you have started doing, how do you feel after that?

I recently just finished a training course of being a customer service representative in an American Telecommunications Company wherein we cater to both prepaid and postpaid accounts of their customers. It is one hell of a tough course.
I have learned a lot of things from there and will be able to apply all of what I have learned in a few days from now after my Day Off. I will be transitioned to the Production / Operations Floor next week.
I have a great feeling about this and the level of being proud to myself is really high because I was able to surpass all of the qualifications needed to be a good representative of the company helping out the concerns of the customer.
Generally speaking, if you are able to finish what you have started no matter how tough it is, what do you feel after doing all that? Will it be an inspiration for you to do more or you will just have to stop from that and consider that one a great achievement for you?

Actually i have a lot of problems finishing what i started, like when i start to read a book, or study, or something like that. But when i finish it, it feels pretty good, like i'm actually capable of doing something on my own, like if i put some effort into it, i could achieve anything.

You should feel that you accomplished something, You have completed something that may of changed the coarse of your life, and sounds like a good field to be in, in these tough economic times. My situation is some what different, I always start a project that may take me years to finish. I am in the construction field, and I start a lot of projects around my house, and they always take me forever to complete. I think that my problem is that I work in the same field all day, and don't have the ambition to come home and do it for myself. Don't get me wrong I love what I do, And it is very rewarding to see the final product. you should be proud of what you have done..

Well that is something you should be proud of. Yes a civil engineer or an architect will be having a real long time with a project. Though sometimes it is going to be for a long term but then some will be having new projects that will only take a short period of time. These are the things that some engineers are always wanting. the side lines. Well it is good to know that nowadays you still have lots that you are working with. The world is progressing even though it may be unstable at sometimes. It is really good to see that you will be successful with what you have started. Thank you for the wonderful response.

Congratulations! That's awesome. I am terrible at finishing things. I haven't finished college, I haven't finished bartending school..I haven't finished the laundry I put in 2 days ago. I don't know what my problem is. I have a hard time keeping commitments, I guess.

If you will not be able to finish something that you have started then how are you going to be able to get successful in something you want to do? Maybe you still haven't realized what you still want in life. You should start asking yourself what are the things you are good at and start taking courses that is in line with your skill. Thank you for the response and I wish you all the best.

I've finished a number of art portraits and I feel great about it. The thing about working with arts like these is you have to maintain your enthusiasm and your motivation and there just times when I was not in the mood on finishing them but seeing the whole thing finished is definitely a relief. If you see your work as a whole and as how you perceived it would be or better, it's something you'll hold on to. If you wanna see my works, just visit my profile or my website.

Yes I agree with you that sometimes if you are doing art works then you should have the mood in finishing it and have a lot of inspiration. If you will rush yourself in finishing it for the sake of doing it then it will not have a great outcome. But if you see all the masterpiece that you finished then you will be inspired to do more. Have a great day.
I will check out your profile.

No I didn't design the website. I used the tools provided by the website to create that. I'm not that literate when it comes to html coding. But thanks for taking time to visit my profile.

I just checked out your profile and it is really nice. Did you also design all the websites that is stated there? Such talent should really be recognized by a lot of people. Compensation with regard to the talent fee is not really the thing that makes you satisfied but the thought that what you did will help a small enterprise to grow is one great achievement. Keep up the good work.

Hi aaron fyzeon: First of all- congratulations for your goal, especially because it was hard, and that's what usually make challenges better. In my case, when I finish doing something I usually experiment a bittersweet feeling: Of course I feel proud of myself and I'm happy but at the same time I know that a period of my life has ended so I have to look for something to continue working. There will be new discoveries, experiences, etc. So it's a great satisfaction but at the same time you feel that you have to say goodbye to a period of your life.

First of all Alvaro, thank you for the nice response. And thank you for congratulating me. It was a really hard account because it is not only we should resolve the customers' concern but to please them as well regarding their services. from 50 trainees that started the training, it all went down to 18 employees that will be transitioned to the operations floor. was really tough right? some will not be able to make it with their stats and some will be resigning because they cannot take the pressure anymore.
That is a real motivation for me. I have also been recognized as the best trainee a few days ago that's why I was able to at least get inspired to do what it takes to be always the best. Indeed correct that it is a real satisfaction when you see yourself doing good in something that you have started. Have a great weekend.

Hi dear,
First of all let me congratulate you. Feel so happy that just on completion you got into job which also completes so successfully. Job satisfaction is the one which most of the professionals looking for after a period of time. As being a fresher, you must have got a thrilling experience and while completion it is a kind of relief and proud together.
For me, a completion of job means mainly it is associated with satisfaction. I am so particular that all work that I completed should be error free and whosever hands it goes, they should appreciate me. It is my way of work and I myself make an evaluation of the same.
For me, after completing the job, I will feel relaxed and comfortable. Though it is painful and tiresome. Also, work-wise, there is no stop and it will keep coming one after another. So, from my experience, and instruction, I will priorities the work and complete accordingly.
I am sure that you must have completed your assignments successfully.
Best regards,
Thank-s

Yeah, it is very nice! Whenever I finish one work, I feel very relaxed and happy. What's more important, it will bring more confidence and love to my life. However, I am so lazy and decadent recently, unwilling to do anything. What's worse, this make me more annoyed. So my life is so bad now. Exactly, I don't know what the reason is. I want to chang my conditions!

All you need to have is an inspiration. I set up an inspiration whenever I am gonna be doing something. For example, if you will get paid after doing all that then you must set up a plan to buy something for yourself after you have been paid if you have done it with quality and on time. Just an example. You can think of something else applicable for yourself. Thank you for the response and good luck getting back on the right track. Have a wonderful weekend ahead.

Hello Aaron,
I guess i need to admit something and that is missing working in the Call Center Industry. i have been gone too long to get back on track now. but i am very much happy for you since indeed most women make better customer service agents, besides they have that voice that can Kill the customers irate behavior.
I believe it was a mistake for me to stop since I didn't reached that level of achievement. the newbies i knew before are now one of the best in their fields. and i can say that, am very much proud of them.congratulations, i do hope you get promoted some day too.

Hello there LetranKnight... How are you now? been a long time since I have seen you again because I wasn't here for a while.. where are you working now if you have been in a call center before? Maybe you didn't have the patience to deal with i-rate customers before and most of the times. I do know where you're coming from because before I kinda lose my patience as well. But then there is the power of using the mute button if i wanted to shout at the customers back while on mute just to release my tensions with them. Heheehhe...
I have been a QA with this same account before but then I resigned because that time we should also be having our phone time too even though we are already been promoted.. sucks right? but then when I resigned.. the company had been hiring a lot of agents already to cover up the service level that we should have been meeting or hitting those times when it was all queueing. For sure your previous co-workers have been promoted by now because if they stick to their jobs, most likely they will be promoted in the near future... thank you for the wonderful response.
