Death Penalty --- Your views

WIth the increasing crime rate in the country, Filipino legislators are debating whether or not to bring back death penalty. There are a lot of pros and cons. And it's a very hard decision to make, I may say, because there's no way an innocent yet assumed guilty and sentenced to death man can be brought back to life. But then some would argue that this may be the only way to scare off the lunatic criminals out there.
What is your view regarding death penalty? Me? I am pro death penalty. No system is perfect. Sometimes you gotta bring out the big guns just to shut everyone up. How about you?

You my friend are right about no system being perfect. There is always going to be pros and cons to everything.
First of all some of the criminals they are just no good to the socitey. They do not serve any purpose other than using precious oxygen. I understand that killing them is just too easy and they wont feel any remorse as their life would be done too quickly, BUT keeping them alive is not helping either. WE as citizens are the ones that have to pay for them by paying taxes. We keep them alive from our money. Why should we have to go through that? They did bad in the society, no we are stuck here paying for them. That is not fair to anyone.
So I say go for it OR send them to Afghan or Iraq and places like that to fight taliban's

Haha! I would like to suggest what you said to our legislators... Send them to Afghanistan or Iraq... Haha! Good one!

Afghanistan or Iraq may be too good for these crooks, they might get recruited. They need to be sent somewhere really dismal, like a deserted island where they are cut off from everyone else without any supplies. I say leave them in the Sahara desert without food or water. Or throw them in the Pacific Ocean. Use them as shark bait. There are some people who don't deserve compassion.
