CNN Doesn't Like the word cross hairs

I had to LOL when I heard that CNN has decided to not use the word cross hairs. Come on! Now we're going to start censoring words because some idiot will think it's his cue to go out and hurt someone? What is wrong with you people? People make decisions to do dumb things. They're going to make them whether they read a book, watch a show, or view a website. They're going to make them in their tiny little vindictive heads and it isn't going to be anything they're viewing or hearing to set it off because they've already made their decision. If we keep on going on this path we won't be saying anything and we'll be a bunch of little drones in gray suits - kind of like the people at the UN. And besides, Loughner didn't even listen to talk radio and wasn't a fan of Palin. In fact, he was a LIBERAL. I don't see the left apologizing for THAT mistake now.

with all the crap the left is heaping on Palin, CNN used the term "cross hairs" 7 times in the month before the shooting, once even AGAINST PALIN. The whole thing is a red herring, and meaningless.

OK I had NO idea they used it against Palin. I'm going to go search, but if you have any details who said it or a youtube link I'd love to see it to pass it on.

That is funny. I wonder what they think that will solve? What is the point? This is just silly, now if they want to censor themselves - have at it. But it will do no good. Like you said, if somebody is going to do something stupid, it is because they are stupid. NOT because of what somebody said or wrote.

I actually happen to be all for self censorship. It is funny though. If the network wants to do it, I don't really see a problem. When the government wants to do it, then there are 1st amendment problems. But the laughable thing about this is CNN will potentially be losing most of its left-wing commentaries.
