Hi to all mylotters! it's been a long time since I was not around here. It's like I missed doing such participation to any discussions about those topics made each member.
Well anyway, I'd like to open a new topic for discussions about certain issues evolved around our society particularly here in my country philippines. As we observed today, crimes against properties and murders are increasing, its always been in the headlines in different news item. Certain crime advocates denouncing such criminals and calling for the government to restore capital punishment like DEATH PENALTY but the president itself express his disapproval of such punishment for he does not believed the kind of justice system we have in the philippines.
And I think the president is right, restoring such capital punishment would be very difficult with the kind of justice system we have nowadays. As a person would you in favor to the restoration of DEATH PENALTY? Does it give solution to the increasing number of victims?

the easy answer , kill 'em ,kill all the rapist , murders but it ain't going reduce the problem.....if we kill someone , if there is no doubt of their guilt , then it will be ok , it won't scare anyone but it will remove the person from society ,,,,

It depends on the grievousness of the situation. A person cannot be really given capital punishment for small errs. But on the other hand, grave mistakes on the person's part cannot be just let go. If capital punishment was introduced in the legal system then there is a reason for it and that's how it should be kept. Used when it has to be used and let go when not really required.
