I am having trouble finding time when I am well rested and not too distracted to read. I like audio books but don't have a lot of time or money to go to the library or pay for down loads. Sounds like a heck of a problem. Any suggestions on how I can find time or find free mp3 audio books I can burn to my player?

I think that if you really want to read, you should really make time. Otherwise, you're probably not going to be able to read. Find time when you know for sure that you'll most likely have time. Like before you go to bed, or before going to work, or something to that effect. If you make time for yourself every day, even if it's just 15 minutes, I think that it's a good idea, and you'll be able to finally be able to actually do some reading.

I think you can find eBooks online at your local library's website, or rent them from the local library and put them on your computer that way. Otherwise I know you can buy them on like Amazon and iTunes I believe, if you're willing to spend the money.

I love to read so I find or make time to do so. For example, if I am in a waiting room and most people are using their laptops or smartphones or Game Boys, I whip out my book.
It's like learn2earn said, it depends on your desire. If you're 'forcing' yourself to read, then you'll have all sorts excuses to not find the time.

I agree that finding time to read is just a matter of "want" to read. I ame reader since I was young, and sometimes there are days I just don't feel in the mood of reading. It's not a question of time. Anyway, usually I read quite a lot even if I do all the other thigs people usually do. One of the thing I usually do less to give time for my reading is watching tv. And I read everywhere! Usually while I have my breakfast, at lunch if I am alone, on queue at the post office (or related places where you find a queue), on the train, at the hairdresser... And I always save at least 30 min every night to read something before getting to sleep.
Anyway, if you are interested in audiobooks, Librivox is a site in which volunteers read audiobooks (mostly classics) that you can download for free. Enjoy!
