Does anyone here play Brutal Legend?

Brutal Legend was one of the first games I got for my Xbox 360, and I really like it, but it seems like no one else knows about it. This seems to be happening to all games made by doublefine. They make really good games and the people who play their games love them but the word never really spreads. Brutal Legend might not look like your type of game at a glance (trust me I would never get a game about old rock and roll if it weren't this game) but it ends up being really funny and actually pretty fun (I'm beating it for the third time already and I've had it for a month). So just wondering has anyone heard of or actually played Brutal Legend here? what do you think about it?

It was good, but not awesome. I don't even play my dinosaur360 anymore just the ps3. I feel that they overdid it in the music game genre. Too many games that were similar seemed to wear people out and they don't give their own games replay value by flooding the market with new games too soon.
It's a shame because I liked them in the beginning.

Right on.
I used to look for games made by specific companies but now I look for games that are made more for the genres I an interested in. I also like giving creativity a chance. That's how I found out how awesome borderlands was. I haven't played a music genre game in a long time.

Maybe that's why I still like it lol because it's the first music genre game I've played on my 360. The only reason I got it in the first place was because I'm a fan of DoubleFine (I really liked psychonauts :P). So knowing it was from them kind of made me like it more too. I don't think this game would be quite as good without it's humor though, which is what put it on the top of my list. If it weren't funny or made by Doublefine I never even would have looked into it...

Yeah this is one of the few games that I've actually played all the way through recently. I liked how the gameplay totally changes halfway through. I also thought the story was pretty good and having Jack Black definitely helped.

yeah, the gameplay at the beginning actually originally wasn't going to be there, it was just going to be the things with the fans. I like that they added the other parts in though, I don't think it would be near as interesting without them. And yeah Jack Black makes it a bit more interesting :P

I found Brutual Legend to be a good game. While it wasn't the best game I have ever played, it was pretty good. I really did like the whole heavy metal thing. The soundtrack is awesome. The gameplay can get a bit bland at times though. Also, the RTS stage battles could get tiresome too. Overall though, not a bad game. Too bad there's no word or plans for a sequel.
