I heard from a good friend of mine that you can earn loads of cash online just by playing games. Is this for real? I'm trying to scour Google and Yahoo for links that will lead me to this kind of websites. Putting in "earn by playing games" or "earning while playing" leads me to dead ends.
Anyone here who knows what exactly my friend is talking about?

There are a few websites around that lets you get paypal credits for playing games. But mostly these websites are gambling websites, and trying their best to lure you to deposit cash.
Even though you still able to get paypal credits in exchange of their game points, it is not going to be easy. One of them that i know only allows you to cash out at $100 with hell loads of points.
All i want to say is, its possible, but not going to be easy, but it is still good, if you are already playing typical games like solitare, old outdated flash games, switch jewels and gems etc like normal days.
Good luck and happy mylotting

Any sites ive came across like this have just been basic flash games with an extremely low pay per play earning which also only allowed you to play / earn so much per day. A few don't actually pay by the play what they do is get people to play the games and the top so many winners will then earn a cash prize. If you do find any though I would be interested in checking them out too.

I know of a few games that let you earn money by playing them, but they have one unfortunate thing in common: they're all slow earners. Nonetheless, I guess there's something to be said for making money while having fun. Anno1777 and Dungeons & Treasures are good games for international players (both are easier to earn with if you invest money in them, though), while Moola and Club Bing (which doesn't pay in cash) are alternative options for Americans.

On moola aren't you gambling your money away without a safety net?

No, you can't actually put your own money into Moola. They give you a penny (and always make sure you at least have a penny) and you can risk that in the games. You also have the option to bank your money whenever you win. I haven't used the site much recently, but I do remember there were complaints about them being quite slow in processing payments...if that's still true, that's the big downside there, apart from it being a slow earner since it's tough to work your way up from just a penny!

I've honestly never been able to find a way to earn money while playing games. However, I'm a member at Winster and I am able to earn gift cards by playing their games. I choose to cash out Amazon gift cards so I can do the majority of my holiday and birthday shopping on there and in the long run it saves me a ton of money so I pretty much think of it as being the same thing. However, it isn't cash in my pocket technically.
