The Most Dangerous Animal in the World!

Whoa! I just had a research about the most dangerous animals in the world, being just curious. I came up with the top ten most ferocious animals. I was shocked with the top 1 animal. I am expecting for the most scary and the biggest killer. I found out that that it was the MOSQUITO!!! It was said that mosquitoes are the best disease spreader. As I think more logically, I thought that bears, sharks, big cats, and the like can only attack one or a few persons at a time. But mosquitoes can spread malaria in our body in just a minute. Humans are far worse. Look at how many creatures we kill every day & how many we've driven to extinction.

Yes you are also right! Murders, crime, assassinations, etc. occurs everyday. But actually I am talking about animals unless, you are treating humans as animals. LOL Have A Nice Day!

Well we're not plants or minerals... Just because we THINK we're better or smarter doesn't mean we're not still animals.

Oh you are right! I forgot that we belong to the vertebrate animals. We are mammals and also we are primates.

I think this is the correct answer, especially for me, I'm an Asian and I live in a hot and always rain country. In my town, mosquitoes are dangerously growing. Nobody die because of a mosquito's bite, but they are dying because some of disease such as malaria which mosquito is intermediaries.I guess people who live in tropical country could clearly understand it, as mosquitoes kill hundred of people per years. You can check it out at Wiki for mosquito and malaria http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaria http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosquito

Mosquitoes are the most dangerous insect in the world indeed. They have killed more people than any other bigger animals did. They can invade our houses like any other bigger animals could so that they can inflict on us deadly disease like dengue and malaria without us even noticing. We should therefore be serious in making our home free from mosquitoes.

Probably this is believable for the reason stated here. Mosquito is really dangerous in spreading diseases. Big animals or even those we think harmful, for sure we can avoid if we saw them in a distance, unlike mosquitos, most instances, it's too late to avoid them. And we never know or see them attacking us. We usually have no control on them, but only maintaining cleanliness on our surroundings. Even how big or dangerous they are, it's only us who can make ways to avoid them not harm us.

Wow.. I'm quite shocked about that to- i thought it would be as big as an alligator or the great white shark or something. But it is really true- they spread diseases real quickly and have killed many people- more than the people that sharks and crocodiles have killed.

One problem with that is that mosquitoes aren't animals; they're insects. The most dangerous animal in the world is human being. They have the power to destroy whole species, make life miserable for other humans and for every living thing on earth. They are the only species with the ability to make the earth unsuitable for life.

Hmm... If people are animals, and so mosquitoes. They are invertebrate animals. They belong to the insects family which have no backbone. But you are right, humans are far more dangerous than any animal else.

Hello Blacksun. Now that I have read the information you provided I'm not surprised that the mosquito is the most dangerous animal. My first thought was us human beings because of our so called intelligence. But as I think about the tiny insect I realize just how dangerous they are. They are every where and can sneak up on you with out your knowing it until they have already bitten you. I found at least ten listed on the internet alone.

I would believe that. The mosquitoes carry so many diseases. They spread to rats and wiped out a lolt of Europe with the Black Pague. There are people in tropical countries who are weakened by the mosquitoes. And they are so fast that they have already infected someone with a disease before he was able to kill them. Other animals (And humans are not animals because we can reason and have an immortal soul) we can see them coming and get out of their way, but the mosquito well they're everywhere, at least in Manitoba in the summer.

Yeah, they are pretty nasty. I remember somewhere I heard that hippos kill more people in Africa than either crocodiles, snakes or lions. So it isn't always what you would think. It's just that sharks and lions and so on are a lot scarier.

Hi Blacksun, Yes, that is most likely going to be one of the most dangerous creatures on the planet. The reason, because many people are affected by mosquito bites. You don't get to hear a large number of cases of snake bites, or people killed by elephants or bears. But many people do die due to malaria, dengue and other nasty diseases by getting bitten from mosquitoes, every year. So it is quite reasonable if one believes they are the most dangerous creatures on the planet. Well, we might not feel it could be, because so many of us have been stung by mosquitoes and nothing has happened to us, but there are quite number of unfortunate people to whom a mosquito bite proved fatal.

I actually read that as well. Deaths related to mosquitoes are the largest. Here in our country, a disease called Dengue is spreading wide and already killed hundred of children.

I did not know that, but once I read what you wrote, I think it makes perfect sense!

Haha as funny as that is it makes sense. I know mosquitos are very annoying but I never knew they would be the most deadly animal. According to the movie Seven Pounds it was a jellyfish which sounds more deadly than a mosquito haha. But still that is pretty cool

Yeah, Jellyfish are deadly also. But they cannot hurt us the most because we are not in the water.

Any animal can be dangerous at some point so it’s hard to determine the only one factor that would help us to define which animals are the most dangerous. I can consider even my own cat dangerous but in no way it can be compared to some beast like a bear. Today we’ll be speaking about mammals and in the next posts we’ll also research the most dangerous animals of other types as well as insects and will make a summary of the most dangerous animals in the world. Animals can get angry when protecting their kids or territory or they can be hungry, or they they can be simply aggressive by nature. The bigger the animal is, the more dangerous it is and this combination with aggression is the factor what we’ll consider one of the main in the post today. Of course, we’re also taking into account the fatality statistics that sometimes as we’ll see does not depend on the the size of the animal at all.

Yeah mosquitos are pretty bad because so many people lose their lives just because they get bitten by one of those never any fun that's why it is always a good idea to wear a repelent when there is a lots of mosquitos present.
