I am not in a college or any school but there is so much in life to learn and that is why I think that I am still a student in my life.
I think every person keeps learning new things and also keeps studying new things in life. This makes every person a student. What do you think about it?
Do you think you are still a student? What is the thing that you are trying to study these days in your life?

I am long past my school days (or daze! ) But I consider myself a student as well. I have done lots of research on brain injuries and physical therapy the last couple of years. I also am a life long student of the Bible. I still write study guides and so I have to keep studied up for that!

That's really interesting that you do research on brain injuries and physical therapy. I have always found myself interested in the human body. I find myself researching different diseases and the chemistry of how they affect your body. I also am interested in physics and how it explores the boundaries and restrictions of the universe. I think studying these things is very invigorating, which just goes back to the original poster's point.

Hi there,
I never studied bible but people say that it is the words of the Jesus. I think you are a spiritual person.
@Kevin,
Hi friend, It is nice to read your comment here. You are interested in human bodies but in what way are you interested in it, please don't take it in other way but you have written it there but not clearly specified your interest.
She was talking about the physical therapy but not the Physics. I was a student of physics and it is nice to meet someone who also likes the Physics. I think you are not trying to act funny but you need to improve your English though. I am not a good English speaker or writer but I think one must write it up to a such level that others can understand it easily and doesn't predict it any other way. I wish you good luck.

Yes, I think I am still a student and I know I would always be a student. It is written clearly in my horoscope, too. That there would be a deep quench for learning in my lifetime. I have not learned much in my school or college days, but have learned most of the things on my own, just reading the books.

Yes. Even though I can graduate a couple of times, I still consider myself a student of life - learning many things that can help build and understand my world and my surroundings. Teachers can come and go but lessons are not easy to part with especially the lessons that make you strong and make you feel human. I think I am trying to figure out or study myself in order to build my future. I am constant examining and re-examining myself in my life and as a person to others.

I agree with you my friend, every person keeps doing this i.e. re examining him herself. It is human nature and the process continues lifelong. You have nice thoughts.

I am a lifelong student...I am always looking for something new to learn. My friends used to call me "Cliff" after the know it all on Cheers, because I knew some much junk. My goal is to be able to have an intelligent conversation with anyone on any subject.

That is a very good goal and I think that is not possible for everyone to achieve it, but yes we can still try for it. It will be great if one person have the knowledge about everything that anyone can think about.

That's very true. We are all students in our lifetime. Even if sometimes we admit that we already a certain this and that but there's always room for learning.
We never stopped learning for a reason - survival. In order to survive, one must learn the easy and the hard way.
Right now, I am learning on how to be patient. LOL. I know it takes sometime to learn ,be patient and be polite with myself when I am trying to learn something new.
I hope we are all diligent enough and has the heart to learn.
Nice discussion, sanjay.

Thank you very much. I am happy that you liked this discussion. Yeah it is hard to be patient sometimes. I think necessity is the mother of invention so whenever there is a need of some personality traits like patience you will have it.
It takes time for sure but it will be there in you. I wish you good luck.

Well I'm in college so I most certainly consider myself a student. But I have always enjoyed learning new things. I like to think that will not change when I work a full time job. I want to continue to learn throughout my life, and I think furthering your expertise, whether it be on a hobby or deepening your personal philosophy, is important to enjoy the challenge of life.

Hi sanjay,
I find me to be more like a great leader and or team player. I find that I lead by example so I try to help, assist and give good examples. At times I also can be a great team player; where as I find that I can join just about any group of people and be open to new ideas and suggestions.
What I am "studying" per se these days is how to yet improve my own ways and open to new ideas.

It is nice to read your response, I like your ideas to be a good team leader. It is a new thing to me because I never give that much effort to be a good team leader. I think I will learn something from you here too.
Being open to new ideas is a very good thing because it helps everyone to grow further in life. Happy myloting .

Hi sanjay!
Am way beyond formal school but I found out that discovering and encountering new thought, ideas and bits and pieces of all the beauth "out there" is even more fascinating and awesome than ever. Even learning new things about yourself is a wonder, too.
Guess we never stop learning. Of course we have to have the attitude of wanting to learn, too, from anything under the sun. Like a child who never stops asking "why" and saying "ohhh" at every new thing. Perhaps at my age and those of my age (never mind what ) we have the luxury of going back to being childlike.
Have a nice day.

As a student, we are always in a process of learning, educating ourselves. During our school time, we receive education by our teachers and by reading books. After wards even if we are not reading books, we are educated by the society we are living in. So I feel that I am always a student.

I share the same thoughts in my life. I think the society will always there because it is created by us and it will there until we live in this world. One will keep learning and growing with it.

"Life is a lesson, you learn it when you are through"
As long as we live, we keep on learning. We are all learners. We all learn through things we experience in our daily life. Learning dose not end at school or college itself, real learning starts when you start understanding people and the way they live.

You have written very true lines. Learning starts from the day we are alive and then this process ends when we go out of this world.
