Cabin fever

I go through this every Manitoba winter. The only time I get out is when I go to Church, to the church societies, choir practice, getting groceries, and shovelling the walk. When my husband was alive, we went on a cruise and I still get packages from the Cruise company. I am seriously considering saving enough for another cruise. Cannot afford it this year, but next year, I mgiht have enough.

I haven't got any cabin fever before since I live in a tropical country. So if I want it warm, I will just bask in the sun in one of our many beaches here. Here is a thought, just think of the beach, the sand and the sun. Think of being in a hammock while drinking any tropical juice. That might keep your cabin fever at bay. hehehe...

I have spring fever...its -25 here today and I am not sure what the windchill is but its cold! This whole week has been very cold but somewhere along the line I picked up spring fever and have been doing alot of cleaning etc...anyway if I could go somewhere warm it would be to Arizona...because my daughter used to live there and I do know some people who do and I could visit while I soaked up some rays of warm sunshine!

Yikes and so sorry to hear of the ton of snow you are getting. We on the other hand, although not the usual loads of snow, are getting way below frigid temperatures. Our weather is about 20 below zero Fahrenheit and is expected to get lower the next few days. I do get cabin fever as it then that I want to go outdoors. If I could go somewhere warm I would opt to Puerto Rico, Island of my origin, where as it is warm, too warm at times but all year round. Stay warm and hope the snow calms down soon for you.
