Grammy Award 2011 -
This year is the toughest to predict....however I have big ray of HOPE that
Bruno mars or Florence+The Machine will win best new artist of award.
I am hoping Katy Perry,Cee-Lo and Lady Antebellum wins the Grammy.
Tell me who will this year's Grammy?

Well, you're WRONG on some of them. After watching Grammy award for so many years, you learn that artists/singers who are more popular/well known would not always win a category. Bear in mind that Grammy award is not an award for popularity, it is an award to recognize achievement in the music industry.
In case if you don't know, those who pick the winners are members of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences) in the US. The members who a lot of them are singers, songwriters, recording engineers, and record producers vote for nominees. Just go to the official website if you want to find out more.
For the Best New Artist category, I happen to know all the nominees except Esperanza Spalding, who won the award. Not many would have predict her to be a winner since she's not well known and her music (jazz) is not mainstream.
For Album of The Year, I happen to know all of them, including Arcade Fire. It doesn't mean that I listen to the whole albums or every song. Arcade Fire happened to be the surprise winner and not very many are familiar with this indie rock band.
I would be curious whether Esperanza Spalding is going to be well known after the win. Also, we'll see how Arcade Fire is going to present itself further.

Thanks....
About Katy Perry, she had entertained a lot in 2010...I think she deserved more than Gaga...She won 3 these time.
And about best new artist, I was shocked to know Esperanza won it.
Lady Antebellum, as expected they won 5 grammies!

Lady Antebellum's 'Need You Now' had solid popularity last year. Although it is a country song (more towards pop), the song last very long (more than a year) on the charts (Billboard Hot 100 especially). They don't seem to have big popularity like Lady GaGa, Eminem, or Katy Perry, but they seem to appeal more to the Grammy voters. For sure, fans would agree with the amount of awards they win. I personally find them to be tasteful.
Do you live in US?
G.
