Now it was time to sleep. Their parents were lying on my bed, half-asleep. No room for me. Whatever, I put the soft fabrics on the cupboard and made an impressive small bed. Big enough for the two cubs. And they liked it too! Thumping with their rather big paws, they looked at me, all happy :)
I gently shook the lion and requested him to go to cupboard as well. He obliged, and grabbing the cubs in his arm, just stretched on the makeshift bed. It was big enough for him too, but now the poor cubs had to sleep on his belly. Not as good as the fabrics... poor little ones!
The lioness too arose, but he told her to stay. No room there. And I too had got a lot of space now, so had no problem with it. So it's time to sleep now...
And then, it happened. The lion tried to move and, due to the lack of space, dropped one cub accidentally. I was still up and hurried to get the cub. He was really shocked, and tried to hide under the other cupboard. I got hold of him and inspected carefully. No sign of injury. Just a little shocked.
"It's ok. You are fine," I patted him affectionately. His parents were relieved. But he wasn't. Because he suddenly clung to me and tried to....
"Hey! I'm not your MOTHER!", I was so embarrassed. And those two, they just started laughing!
Did you ever have funny dreams!!?

But you apparently make a good mommy substitute, my friend! LOL! (I would have laughed, too, just to see you turn red! )
I don't have funny dreams that I can remember.... The ones I can remember are of being chased. I am trying to go somewhere and whoever is chasing me beats me to the target place. It happens over and over again.

Hi Hora,
Funny Dreams
Ever since I started software development and web programs all I get is nightmares and codes
Ok, straining my brain, I remember one from my early days - I was Dale the squirrel - I fell in a swimming pool and there was no way I could get out of it. So I started to drink the water and finished the whole to the last drop. My stomach was so very big in size... and here is how I was walking then - one step forward but the tummy would not move so I pick it up, then unable to carry the weight for long, I drop it - THUMP! - I still remember the sound that it made - finally I reached one edge and my partner, Chip put a rope for me to get out.
Funny or not or even a hangover of the strip but I have this to share
Cheers,
theSids

It's funny to imagine the carry-your-(big)-stomach thing. I wish I too could know the sound exactly :) Good that you drank to the last drop, otherwise a slip could have caused your tummy lie overyou!
You liked the strip very much, then? I don't even know when these cartoons started to be aired on TV.... And, maybe I too am going to have the same nightmares once I start working. Still my brain is wired quite queerly, so no doubt dreams like this will pop in now and then

Yes, I dreamed all in one night that a lion was trying to eat my baby and my house was running down the road trying to get away from a tornado. My son's pajamas that night has a beautiful screen print image of an adult male lion, so I know where that came from.

Hmm... I don't know. I love kittens for sure. The cats too. But the big cats..

I'm dreaming one night and saw myself in no man's land. I have lost everything I've got even my family and the only living people left are those hunting me. I only have a revolver with a few bullets left to protect me. My body is even not cooperating as I walk very slow. As the hunters go to my whereabouts, I decide to exchange bullets with them. It was so brutal that the next thing I am able to do was to only wake up.

Hiya hora,
That was a funny dream to have and yet a nice on too. Mine this morning was about a Bus Driver well a Coach Driver really that thought his Bus was water proof and he went off into the water like it could float. So he realized his Bus was letting in Water shrugged his Shoulders and drove back onto Land again.
I was watching this from a distance though so I have no idea what it was all about. Have a great weekend you could just have some more Dreams like that one.
