In my age right now which is 32 turning 33 enjoys life like traveling in every places i wanted to, but sad to say neither once happens. maybe because my life is not properly planned. well, my fault also because during my young age, i did not think carefully or manage my life. i mean got pregnant at young age, then after i graduated i engaged myself right away and got another baby. so right now my priorities are my children studies not for myself. but i know at the age of 40 ill enjoy my life then. HAHAHAHA
Do you have something in mind also that you wanted to do, but there there hindrances thats why you cannot make it? wanna share?

Hi carrine...
Hahaha... but do believe it will come true after 40. For me, Economical crisis is the main obstacle in fulfilling my desire. I have a wish to travel around the globe and the age also the same as you. Just turned 33 on last 24 December. Have a great time.

Just like you, traveling is one my dreams. I love the feeling that traveling gives me. It refreshes my body, mind and soul and rejuvenates my perspective in life. At the age of 26, this is what I would love to continue doing. There are still so many places to see in my country and I haven't been outside the country yet. What's been hindering me from doing everything is my schedule. I'm usually busy at work and definitely, finances are a hindrance too. Sometimes, I want to go some place else but I'm on a tight budget. So I try to save a few of my hard-earned money for the luxury of traveling when I want to.
Bu the way, it's never too late for you to achieve your dreams. You just got to do a little bit more work on your time management and everything else will fall into place. Good luck with us!

Just be positive. Try it one step at a time. Set a particular date on your mind and go for it.

haha =D Hindrances are in everybody's life. There are times we need to make changes to our priorities in life, in order for us to feel motivated.. PLans are fixed but we are flexible. Take a break from usual routine if needed, because that will freshen us up, and allow us to work harder to look forward to that break again yet not comprising on our ultimate goal.. haha =D

If you want to travel my not travel with your children. I have always travel with my children when I started traveling with them. They would love to go to the beach, or even Disney World. All children loves to visit Disney World and get to see Mickey Mouse and all of the other characters that are there.

Luckily for me, I was able to move my family half way around the world. And also, I got a job that requires me to travel once in a while. It isn't enough, but it's alright for the time being. Maybe when I get to retire then I could go the places that I still have on my list.
The thing that I had to put on hold because of responsibilities is my education. A few years ago, I took up some courses that would have helped me with my career. But then my second son was born. So I had to put that studies on hold, and I haven't had the chance to come back to it.

You can't as of the moment. But with careful planning and saving, you can do that. This time traveling will be much more fun because you have your family to travel with. It is like hitting 2 birds with one stone. Family bonding and traveling all in one... You will have the time of your life.

I don't think anyone's life turns out exactly the way that they planned, but I think I'll eventually get the things I want, just not as soon as I wanted them.

What can we say, it is Man proposes, God disposes. I have had many plans when I was young and used to sit at one corner of the house and build castle in the air dreaming of what I wanted to do and have for my future. One funny thing I used to dreamed of is to be married to my prince charming with a bulging pocket. So I thought I can have everything with just a press of the button! I am not meant to be the cinderalla with that golden shoes. My dreams did not materialize. I have to worked hard alongside with him to feed the mouths that I co-produced. But I am thankful that my two boys are now successful in their own rights and with the extra bounty and energy left of me, I adopted two beautiful daughters to call my own to make my family complete. I find no obstacles in my present relationship as I am given the passport to travel anywhere anytime which I feel I am quite fortunate not to be confined to being a housebound married woman.

Keep on dreaming, for it is never too late.
And there are other things that must happen first in your life as what is destined and travel plans must take a back seat.
Isn't it that we don't usually get our wishes at the time that we want it, instead we just get surprised if we have it at a time where it is very appropriate.
I had no plans to travel to another country, in fact, i haven't visited the beautiful beaches we have in my own country as tourist attractions.
Oh well, as i said, never too late.

Hi Carrine! I think it's just proper timing. I started my traveling at the age of 27 in Southeast Asia, at 33 I travelled to Europe and since then I managed to travel at least once a year. I visited Africa, different countries in europe and the USA. Traveling is a very rewarding adventure. It will improve your personality, it will widen your outlook in life, you will understand more the different people with diffrent cultures. I encourage you to start doing what you are dreaming to do. One by one.
In regard to your question, yes, I have a lot of things that I want to do but due to the availability of time and money that I seldom have both at one time, I wasn't able to carry out things I love to do. When I have the money I don't have the time and if I have the time I don't have the money. Of course I would like to continue traveling and visit more countries. Also I would like to learn more languages, enhance the foreign languages that I already learned (German and French) but at the moment I have no opportunity to use it hence I tend to forget. I am also passionate with Latin dancing, I would like to travel to Cuba and learn more what I have learned outside Latin America.
I was able to do some of these already, our difference is that I am single and have no family. I can move freely compared to you, of course family first.
Good luck and wish you all the best!

For travelling, I like to enjoy the wonderful nature and get to know how different races people live. But now, I have to focus on my study and try to get high marks... Is a kind of...e...But I think I could manage some trips in summer and winter vocations~~

Carrine, the good news is you are still young! Think of this way you have matured some and you now realize how important it is to manage your life properly. I did the same thing as you except I did the exact opposite. I traveled everywhere in the blink of an eye. I now am 28 with a wonderful husband and son and wish I would have toned the traveling and reckless spending down just a bit. There are so many things I wish I would of saved up for. My husband is now the one financially responsible for all of our family and as most know that is not easy.
So my suggestion is to you. Start saving up some money and take an annual or bi-annual vacation somewhere you have always wanted to go. I think making those vacations travels with your family will created better memories then if you were to just pick up and go with whatever friend would participate.
By puttinf your children first it shows how much you have matured and grown and you will get to those destanations one day=).
