Life is the best gift God has given to us. However we usually don't appreciate this great gift. At the same time some of us has experimented fear when we think about death. The question is: imagine that you could live for a 100 years more. So in my case, I'm 23 I'd live until I'd have 123 years old. That's a lot of time. If you could live for 100 years what would you do? What would you like to see. I chose 100 years because it's a big number and it's almost a miracle to know a person with more than 100 years. Do you think that it would help you to value more life, the life of your friends and family if you know that you'll have to live for this amount of time so you'll have to see them die. That's sad but I think it's an interesting subject. Thanks guys for reading this discussion. I'll love to read your answers.

I am 30 and want to live 100 more years. If I live that long will be able to see many changes in technology and possiblly good things happening around me. I do not want to see human becomign animals in the next 100 years.
I value my life everyday as it is a gift of GOD and if I live for another 100 year it would be same for me to praise god for this life and be thankful to everyone who loves me.
Thank You for sharing.

Hi Ajay Singh Baghel: I think about this too. I think that these last 20 years have been amazing and we have seen many things that were considered impossible in the past. The future years would be even better in technology I think so I can't wait, I 'm sure I'll feel surprise watching those events.

I think G-d's best gift is love. I wouldn't want to live to be 100 because I would have too see Everyone I love die. Besides old age isn't the best part of life and to live so long that I couldn't be independent isn't for me.

Hi sarah tuth beth: But if you live to be 100 you may be know a lot of people to love. For example, my great grandmother had a lot of great granchildren, grandchildren, daughters and sons that were with her in her final days. But I know that it must hurts too much to see the ones you love dying.

Hi starsailover,I am 71 years old and I wouldn't want to live another hundred as all my friends and family would be gone and it would be just too boring. Now if all my family and friends could live that long as well it might be a little different, but I'm still not sure I'd want it unless I could be young again. Blessings.

Hi Pose: Thanks for answering my question. I can understand your answers. Life is beautiful but depending of the circumstance once could say: that's enough. I always remember my first days on earth as a child. Blessings to you too.

Ten-minutes ago, I just answered a discussion titled 'What would you do if you only have twenty-four hours to live?'. I could enumerate everything that I wanted to do but I think to do that I would need a few more hours just for this one, LOL. Seriously, if I could live that long I would spend my life learning about a lot of stuff like raising a child through manhood alone(I'm a single parent), I'd stop saying a can't and not be afraid of math anymore and finally learn to love spending my time doing equations, go to the gym everyday til I lose 80lbs and keep it off till I'm a hundred and twenty-six, blog everyday while improving my grammar, spend my days with a man who can hold my undivided attention, build up my own library consisting of my favorite novels and folklore from around the world, and of course, sing even though I can't make a career out of it.

Hi maxen: I think that this other discussion might be interesting too. I love your answer, that's the attitude. If we could know that we're going to have this amount of time, we better expend it learning things, having fun, making some good goals, etc. Life is an amazing gift, the best one. Unfortunetly some peopl just see the bad things.

I wish first of all I could live that long, and unfortunately, the fact is that I will not and I know that too. I also believe that life is also a gift of God and if God gives me time to live that long I do believe I will live 100 years too. if I live say beyong 70, and as I go towards 100, the 30 years of that gap will be total used to improve qualityof life of human being by help all the projects that target to improve quality of life, I will spend all my time, money and energy to provide better life for future. I wish I am a doctor that I spend time in lab to discover medicine for HIV AIDS.

I want to write, I want to travel all over the world, even remote places
I want to do research on historical sites and so on

I don't think more time would add more value to your life. I know I wouldn't want to live 100 years. I mean, especially if I have to age and become a 100 year old woman. That would just be terrible. I don't think it's the amount of time you have here, but how you USE that time. Know what I mean?

Hi maezee: I perfectly understand your point of view and at the same time I think that we don't know how many years we have to live but we can decide to be happy and make the years that we have to live our way for happiness.

If I could live for 100 years, I'll explore the world (given that finance is not an issue). I'd like to see those places I only see on tv or in pictures.

Hi front visions: I agree with you. If I could live 100 years and I have a financial stability I'll try to enjoy my life as much as possible and traveling around the world is a good option. Thanks for sharing your opinion with us.

Hi ybong: Yes, it's not impossible but it still seems as something almost incredible to know a person 100 years old or even older. What would you do if you could live those years?

Hello there Alvaro, well if i could have another 100 years to live then it would be really great!! I will make the most out of my life. I will live my life to the fullest because I don't want to waste the great gift that God has given me if that would be the case. But the thing is, if we will be able to have that kind of life. our body will still be weak as we increase our age. I would not want to live my old life being so weak because it will be in such agony to look back to the ways you have lived your life before. But there would be no regrets if you have lived your life in purpose. I will be proud that I have lived that long being happy and helping a lot of people. It would really be so nice if I can be with my love ones while living that life for so long. Thank you for bringing up this topic which will all make us make the most out of living our lives in purpose. Have a great weekend.

Hi aaron fyzeon: I think that the most important thing about life is not the number of years that you could live but the quality of life that you have so I totally agree with you. Thanks for your answer. Have a great weekend too :)

I think if a man lives more than 100 years, he would not be in a condition to judge anything in the latter part of his life.

Hi Doctor didi: actually this differs from the persons. I have watched on tv a woman that was 110 years old and she can talk properly and she also remember some of the events of her life when she was young.

Its really nice to hear. But if I am assured to have good health until my last day, well there would be meaning I feel in living upto one hundred years. Otherwise, I think it is not a boon but a curse. In my experience I have seen many people suffer after seventy years and spend most time with hospitals and medicines. what is the use then.

Hi wealthy mouli: well we, as human beings, don't want to suffer but according to my religion, there must be a reason if God has decided that we have to live these extra years and even the pain could be a resource that God employs for our salvation to teach us to be more patient and accept HIS will.

Living more than hundred years is great pain. After 70 years many will not have good health and they wish to die peacefully. The experience and wisdom within those years are enough to pass on to others. It is not how many years we live but how we live.

Hi tvarasu: I understand your point of view. At the same time this make me think that we should remember that, excepting for an accident or a terrible situation like a disease we'll be old so we should take care more for the old ones of our families.
