Difference in NOLA before & after Katrina.

I went to New Orleans in 2004, just 1 year before Hurricane Katrina hit. I am curious to go back now & see how much it has changed. I loved what I actually got to see when I was there in 2004, and I think if I were to go back with my husband, he would be a lot more willing to walk around with me and actually go sight seeing. Have you been before Katrina hit? Have you been after Katrina hit? What has changed?
