All now i haven't receive my dream computer. I always wanted a labtop that have a 5 giga hertz processor and a 4 GB memory with a 1 Terabit hard drive. When it comes to a desktop i wanted a 8-10 giga hertz processor, 6-8 GB memory plus external memory and a 5 terabit hard drive plus external space. I wanted it to have a water cooling system and the lastest graphics card. The list goes on. What is your dream computer.

My dream computer is not a super computer, all I want for a computer is to make all works and jobs done in a more simple way with less cost for maintenance, paint jobs, patience and headaches or heartaches or toothaches.
Sorry boys and girls my dream computer (I always aim high ... hehehehe ambicioso!), my setup are Apple Macs on top of my work desk. My regular desktop computer is a 27" iMac. Additional two 27" Apple LED Displays. For very high sensitive, critical works and lots of processing power, I need a tower power of the Mac Pro. For portable computing a 17" or 15" MacBook Pro, a MacBook Air, a 64GB (no 3G) Wi-Fi iPad, and 32GB iPod Touch.

If money I had, I would settle for lenovo c200 touch screen, 18.5", with intel host bridge, processor d510, 2048mb. It has a 5-1 card reader and rescue system.

Let's dream, I would want a super computer!!! heheeh, but desktop not notebook. I would be an I7 with quad core 3GHz processor, dedicated video card with 1GB own memory, 8GB system RAM, 1TB 10000RPM hard disk, wireless mouse/keyboard. As a complement, 5Mb/s symetric internet connection and a 22 inch LCD monitor.
Back to reality, my core2duo 2GB RAM 320GB Hd is not that bad and still behaves very well. And I also like my new notebook, which is even closer to the dream.

Well this souds great... for the moment but I bet in 3 to five years that wont be enough anymore. I started with pc busines about 35 years ago. had one of the fist one board computers as they where called by that time with one kb RAM and no Floppy drive and no harddrive. Programming language was the mashine code then. Soon came up mashines with the big floppy drives and still no harddrive. Operating system was CPM. Since then the mashines grew very fast up to the standards we have now. But you can bet... that wont be the end.

I'm going to build my little dream pc in a couple of days!
Some specs I can give you of my new desktop:
2TB Harddrive
64GB SSD Harddrive
8GB memory
i7 2600(K) processor
It always can get better but I don't have enough money for something better ;).
My real dream PC will have al the best things that you can find on the market! But that's alot of money to spend on a single desktop.

A computer desktop or laptop powerful enough to handle HD videos.
