People who are having an income would generally spend what they currently have. Sometimes, there are extra money out from the savings or excess from the budget. How can make extra money out of those? Putting in the banks may be good to keep it safe, but it doesn't give the yield we want in the future. We can have it under a mutual fund. However, which do you prefer, banks or mutual funds?

I am putting my savings to mutual funds as they give more returns than banks. I can't monitor the stock market my self so my fund managers do it for me and I am getting good returns . I have kept the some amount of cash at home which can be used in case of any emergency and I would like to get the amount from my mutual fund investments after 10-15 years.
