I heard of it 10 yeas before. I don't feel to work with them then and even now also. After all, it is a business and they have their own bsuiness and marketing methods, which is an essential part of their business model. Think of cars - we have Fiat, Skoda, TATA, Audi, Honda, and many. But all have its own prices and values. So, as per the taste and capacity, and choice, they will go for any of the brands. Here also, the matter is same.
It is of MLM business model for Amway and world wide accepted company and there are branches and working from all over the world. The products are highly useful and compare with the prices (Indian) it feel costly. You will get better updates from their official sites. It works well and people on the bottom level earns in higher volumes. As and when more are more people are working together in groups, they can earn more.

yeah i heard about it.Actually my cousin used to sell amway products before she got married. She was a teacher then but its quite hard to convince people to buy something else which is expensive than the product they always use, though its easy to convince people who already know you. Its works best for people who are in touch with many other people like if they work some where then can tell their colleagues.

I used to distribute Amway products and loved it. The cleaners are great and the Artistry cosmetics are wonderful. Out in public I'm kind of shy and quiet so it wasn't a good business choice for me, but for someone who can do it then it's wonderful. You can actually make a lot of money doing it.

Amway one of the good retail for mainly cosmetics, that i know. But it also has more products. Business success is very high risk, because the products are of high cost and mainly for high class people.

I heard about it before and my young sister has once tried it but decided not to continue because it has lots of work and made her stressed. Personally I hate multi level marketing (MLM) because I will be a living store who will try to persuade people from me and get them to register becoming living stores and work under me. It will not work on me but I have friends who with an MLM company (not Amway, but it's called NuSkin) and it works for them and they earn lots.

Hello sugu and welcome to myLot. Some years ago I got involved with AMWAY. I think it is a great company to get involved with if you are good at selling things. I didn't do very well because I'm not a good sales person. The products seem rather expensive but then you much less than you do for the same products from the grocery store. Once you get some customers then you want to get some people to sign up under you and you get a percentage of their sales and so it goes on down line.

Amway has been "around" for literally years and years. Like everything else..it's popularity comes and goes (like Avon, Watkins, Fullerbrush and the like) Its all the same..home parties and a sale person you order things from.m Amway has just come back to popularity recently as I have seen their commercials on TV. I'll never forget when a kid we were looking for a house and mom had one she loved and it had a pool...and she'd a bought it, but the pool had the Amway logo painted on the bottom of it and she couldn't stand that!
Amway, like any other door-to-door sales item, is good if you are really really out goining person, have lots and lots of friends and contacts and can afford to not know your monthly income at the beginning of the month and can live on a sales quota income...meaning you might not have any parties this week so there will be no income for this week.
The thing is...they are similar to pyramid schemes. You sign up, have parties and sell and make commission based on your sales but you also recruit others to join and start selling. Then you get a commission off the sales of those that join "under you".
For me.. I dont' like buying things this way. I go to the party, pick out what I want, and PAY right then and there and then wait 2-3 weeks for my products. I need the stuff now...not in 2-3 weeks. Guess you could plan ahead and call your rep and give an order, but still...same thing.. pay in advance and wait.
IF you know alot of people nad are very out going nad can deal with giving the parties and selling like that and can also live with income in arrears..then it might be something you should look into. But it is really just a hit and miss kind of work. It would probably be good for a side job or a second job...one where the earnings are a "fill in" amount, but nothing that you demanding for the month.

Yes, I had some experience with Amway and their products are very good and very expensive. What is wrong with Amway is its run almost like a pyramid scam, except you get products in return, you have to keep getting people to join your group and buy the products in order to earn money, It's similar to trying to get active referrals the more you can get the more money you earn. I never really joined Amway I just went to a couple of their meetings or seminairs.

Amway has been in business for a long time. There's nothing wrong with their products, but it's an MLM (multilevel marketing) company and it has all the faults of that kind. To really make money, you have to be a good salesperson and you also have to be able to persuade persuade other people to join under you. The truth is that most of the people who join Amway or any other MLM companies never even make back their investment in the products. I've known people to be using Amway products for years because that was the only way to get back the investment for all the product they couldn't sell.
In general, MLM companies are consider scams or very close to it.
