I'm really not a superstitious person at all. I don't think that I ever have been. It's not something that I personally believe in.

I am , but I'm not sure its only for "fun" so to speak or because I truly believe in them. For example: Karma. I do believe in Karma, although I also believe in destiny and creating your own destiny. I know by doing the right thing, life has surprisingly rewarded me double. Example: I worked at a real estate company as a receptionist and found a $5.00 bill on the floor in the foyer. Being a struggling mom, I so wanted to keep it but felt I should turn it in. I turned it in. I'm sure the other receptionist ended up keeping it for herself, however, at least I knew in my heart I did the right thing. Later in life - years later. I ended up working for the same "name" but a different branch real estate company. So in other words, an entirely different building and for different people and a good 5/6/7 years later. Ironically, on my birthday, I was outside on a smoke break, and sitting there on a bench was a folded $10.00 bill - by folded i mean sitting there open - but creased long ways. I looked around and not a person but me in sight. It was outside on a bench in December!!! and even tho it bounced in the wind, did not move or fly away, and I believed at any given moment it could have blown easily. I took that as a form of reward for doing the right thing, and instead of getting it back, I got 10 instead of 5. The experience itself felt very warming and had me smiling all day. I try to always "pay it forward" tip more than average even tho I have trouble paying my bills. I do it for better karma. I don't walk under ladders for the sake of superstitions. I try not open umbrellas in the house. I hate when a mirror breaks. However, I love love love black cats, so I try not to feel they are superstitions. I find 13 is more of a lucky number for me including Friday the 13th rather than unlucky or bad. So to answer you, probably yes. But not everything and I would not take it to an extreme. When it comes down to it, you are in control of your beliefs. If you do not want to feel unlucky or wrong for any of the ones i mentioned - then simply don't let it manifest into what you fear! Hope that helps!
