How many out there are Navy spouses? How are you doing? How many years have you been in? Looking forward to the next PCS? Respond here.......

Navy spouse here. Doing as well as can be expected. My husband is just completeing his fifth year in the navy. And I'm really am looking forward to our nect PCS. I find that moving to a new area lets me meet more interesting people and also I get to see either more of my own country or get to wxperience someone else's country. It is all interesting to me and I view it a an opportunity.

Hey! Great to see your reply here. Glad to know you are also a military spouse. Fifth year, eh? My spouse and I have been doing this for over 13 years now. I love to move too and love the diversity in the places and people. Always something new to learn and I absolutely agree! An opportunity. Thanks for your post and I look forward to posting back and forth.

Hey! Glad to see you respond again. I think it's great that your husband decided to join. I can only imagine how interesting it must be for your husband. What a change! And, also for you. I know we will be retiring from the Navy, but it has been a lot of fun. I'm one of those people who doesn't mind when he's away. I have so many things to keep me occupied and then I can always go to wherever he is and visit. Well, for the most part anyway. I look forward to keeping in touch with you.

Have no idea how long my husband will be in the navy. We just take it one tour at a time and when it is time to think about the next move we talk about if we want to continue with this life style. So far its been good. And although my husband is away sometimes it is bearable. Unlike most people my husband joined the navy on an age waver after fifteen years in parish ministry.

Hey! Sorry it took so long for me to respond. We are currently in Fort Worth, TX. I've been stationed in different places. My spouse has been in the Navy for over 13 years now. Hopefully you'll see this response and we can get to know each other, as you had said. Take care!
