Do you rate comments on your discussions positive or negative?

Yes i rate all the comments on disussion, mostly i rate positive in all comments but if a response gets hurt to someone i dont rate the discussion, no negative no positive.

i always try to rate all my discussions responds with the positive rating. it is the way i say thank you for responding my discussion. happy mylotting

I won't rate another user negative, unless they are rude and mean, then I feel they are worth getting a negative. I don't like rating negative at any time, as we are all trying to build up our ratings here and I want to help others to do so. I will also rate those negative that post referral links in their discussion, as that is definitely not to be done, and they certainly don't deserve a positive when they violated the rules. Now, on my own discussion, yes, I do rate most all positive, as I feel that their response is contributing to the discussion in a positive way. It like one user said though, that wse have to be careful we don't abuse the ratings system. We only hurt ourselves when we do that, but there again, fi someone deserves a negative then they will get it, and not because they disagree with me either, as we all have a right to our opinions, whether right or wrong, and we need to be respected for them. Hi I rate most of all members who respond to my discussion positive and that includes opposing responses as an opposing response also makes for a great discussion. I do not rate negative, only but one time when a member was making fun of another members English and that cannot be tolerated. I also reported the member and sadly he was suspended as he was doing this repetitive. As for negative, do keep in mind that as per the guidelines abusing the negative rating will also bring down a members rating as well, and as well it should as just because I like chocolate and a member like vanilla does not mean I should be rated negative when the question for sake of example what is your flavor. How I select best response is that the one that grabs me the most gets, no favoritism what so ever, it can also be an opposing response. All another best responses in the same discussion also get a positive rating. Hope this helps and see you around the Lot.

Hi there akangirl!!! Yes I do rate peoples comments but most of the time I dont use the negative rate.I only rate those comments that I like with positive rate and when there is a comment that I think against my views I dont rate them.I want to avoid using the negative rate as much as possible coz I dont want to offend anyone or make any enemies here in mylot. In rating comments I think we should all consider many things.If a comment is against your views or ideas and if you dont like it I think it is better to just ignore it rather than giving it a negative rate.Well this is of course based on my opinion.

Exactly! thats why I dont like to rate, But I think rating will add up to there earnings. If its very good stuff written not only for earning few cents then I dont have any problem to rate any discussion.
