about Starcraft.. is it a sport? or NO?

me and my korean friend are arguing about Starcraft, he keeps saying it's a sport and he is crazy about it. but on my point of view i think it is just another video game. yes , you do need skill to play it and much amount of concentration. but sports for me are usually healthy and more physically and mentality. starcraft do you a little physical(fingers) and mental. probably a gamer who lose and become angry who hits everything near him? losing leads - to mentality affected - physically hits everything. (sorry no offense intended to other starcraft hardcore player) what about your thoughts friend?
