Recently, on a field trip, I got a chance to look at our state' agricultural department building, it is amazing, and the guide gave us a tour on the whole building, and how the daily business conducted here. One thing bothers me is that I saw a couple of those painting on the walls, depicts the old South plantation, how the whites take blacks as slave work the plantation field, like cotton, and corn etc...... Is that racism? Even within a government building.

Here is the most simplest answer you can always trust. If you have to ask yourself that question after viewing something then more than likely it is, all I can say is check out the atmosphere in the area and if you see some people with smile on there faces while looking at it and there skin tone doesn't match the people skin tone on the pictures then its probably a racist picture or photo or whatever. Hope this answer yours and everyone else question when they have to ask there self that question.

I won't care about this painting anymore, but along with our group, there are some black folks there too. I just won't say it will be comfortable for them to see such scene. Anyway, hope that they won't take it too far.
