This is a recent photo of my Savanna. She's my 2 year old grand daughter. She is growing so fast now. She does a lot of talking and plays a lot of silly games. Sitting at my wifes restaraunt for dinner last night Savanna looked at me and said, "Scare Grandpa." Then she went, "Rrrrrrrr" Loudly at me. It actually scared me as it caught me off gaurd totally. Another thing she learned recently was giving someone pie. You ask her for pie then lean into her closely. She then slaps you with her palm just like it was a pie from the slapstick comedy era. She is growing fast and is just absolutely adorable now. Well she's always adorable, just more so now. She always asks mommy if she can go to grandpa's house or call him. I love my lil' princess. Anything sweet or adorable you wish to sharfe about your grandkids or kids please feel free to do so. Thanks all for reading this and as always..........

hi Grandpa Bor sure wish I did have a granddaughter but my son
is now 51 so looks like hes going to be a bachelor all his life.
just now wish he could find a really good job. jobs are still outweighed
by people looking for one here in C alifornia. I still remember when'
my son was four and his sister three, they were so close and would stick
up for each other. but my son had a mischevious nature then; he decided to give little sister a hair cut and the only thing that saved her from disaster was getting the little pair of scissors caught in her long hair; And that and hearing her say loudly" NO nO Wobbie no cut my
hair Wobbie" boy did I come running when I heard that. I had to laugh as he had got the scissors thoroughly tangled in her long hair. He had also managed to prune one side of my new bath towel. I asked why he did that and he said,"mommy its unraveling so I saved it. got to do the other side mommy." I laughed as I scolded him" that is ornamental its supposed to looke like that." H said " but that does not make sense mommy" now this is a four year old kid.'where he picked up such a vocabulary I never knew but he was around us adults a lot more than aound other kids in our neighbor hood.oddly that does not make sense is till one of his favorite terms. He was supposed to come see me this weekend so do not know if he is still coming today.

Oh my goodness, has it really been that long since she was born. There are a good number of us that have been here for years. Its getting real close to my 5 year mark here for me. Wow doesn't time fly.
She is such a doll baby, beautiful. I have lots of grandkids and a couple of them are little. The big ones are precious but them little ones and super duper precious. Gotta enjoy them when you can, they grow up so fast.

When my daughter and family were here earlier this month I got to teaching the little one to "cook". Hallie is a little bit younger than Savanna. The older one surprises me by how "grown up" she sounds and how diplomatic she tries to be. I offered her some food left over from lunch. She said "Althought it was really quite yummy I don't think I want some more of that right now." She is not five yet, so that sounded very mature. She will be five in a week actually. I had thought of coming up, but money and time is an issue right now.Lahna Mae is going to preschool this year.

Hey Grandpa Bob! I can't believe that is little Savanna! I was
"there" since the very "first" picture and can't believe how
grownup she is! She is beautiful and has a great big smile
that light's up her face. I know that she's "Grandpa's lil'
princess for sure! I've enjoyed watching her growup and all
the beautiful pictures that you and Minnie have taken of
her. Send my love to Minnie too and tell her I miss her.

Oh so cute, Kids are so much fun when they are very little. I do remember my son when he was about 3, he hung on to the look up and look down, then rub his finger up the rim of our nose.
Oh, how that got old but the laughter it caused him each time he did it, it was like a brand new joke to him.
Time flies huh, Grandpa, they sure do grow up fast. The everlasting memories stay with us endlessly.

Savanna loves splashing water in any way on people as well.
As with all kids, her laughter is so very contagious too.

Well my little princess is five now....and she is turning into a beautiful little girl...she is dancing this year instead of playing hockey..and it's nice to go watch her without freezing my butt off everytime! LOL..she loves to bake when she is here and stays with me on a regular basis..we now are into board games as well as playing on the computer....and as alway my craft room is also hers...she loves painting and stamping like I do...she can be crabby when she comes over but 15 minutes in the craft room and she is a different girl....she comes out happy! She has been one of the biggest blessing of my life as my other grandkids are all so very far away.

So CUTE!! I remember when she was just a tiny little thing! Kids are great, it's so exciting and entertaining to watch them grow. I don't have grandchildren yet but my boys were adorable when they were growing up. My oldest loved construction equipment and his first word was not Mommy or Daddy but "lo-lo" for Loader!
Savanna is lucky to have her grandparents near and so involved.

She's still tiny but ...... HAHAHA!
Her voice sure isn't tiny.
She has my loud voice etc that's for sure.
I guess the kids now think I'm related to King Kong mostly due to my roaring boisterous voice. HAH!
Savanna loves tools too. It's funny seeing her want to play with a toy drill or saw or hammer etc. That's her daddies doings for sure.
