What are some good Anime series available in the US?

I am always looking for new anime to watch. I really like some of the darker stories although they are harder to find here in the US. I am looking for any series that can be found here in the US legally to either rent or buy. If you know of some that are online I will only watch if they are on a site that has the license to air them. I do not watch fan subbed anime since it is illegal.

how about kuroshitsuji?
it has a dark theme to it and it is dubbing now!
or maybe darker than black?
it's also dubbed and is selling now.

Hmmm...a darker series huh? Have you tried "Monster" yet? It's a pretty good psychological triller with many twist and turns. There's a total of 74 episodes which is kind of long but really worth it. I remember seeing it on the SyFy channel a while back. Some other licensed shows that I can think of are "Boogiepop Phantom", "Ghost Hunt", and "Jigoku Shoujo". If you have Netflix then I think you can find some of these titles there for rent. Other then that the best place to buy these are online because I haven't been able to find any of these titles in the various stores around here.
