Hello
I am a persistent user of facebook and have not used twitter ever in my life. I am planning to register to twitter. This is a question for those of you who use both of these sites. which of these sites are more user friendly and interactive.

I have been on Facebook for a little over three years now and have been on Twitter for about a year. I must say that Facebook is better but I am starting to find Twitter a lot better than I thought I would.

facebook and twitter are both update sites. you can information on your friends status and what they are doing, share pictures, memories....
I prefer facebook over twitter. twitter is a bit useless. I really don't think anyone will follow you (no offense) is not a lot of people know you. besides, do they really need to know your activities on a minute by minute basis.

Facebook VS Twitter
I have twitter and Facebook account. I've been a member of twitter for almost 5 years but not really active in the first 2 years and in FB, I would say, we can do many things in FB than twitter. In twitter, we can tweet what we're doing and in FB, we can post on wall what we are doing. But in twitter, we can't play games, we can't make a page, and a lot more. Twitter is exclusively for updates of what you are doing in that hour, that minute.
But even though FB is better than twitter, I still love twitter :)

Although they are both networking sites, still they are different in nature. I must say though that facebook is more interactive. Easy to post activities and all. In twitter however, is good if you're into "what's-my-favorite-celebrity-is-up-to" thing. I still use twitter though, to post things that I can't post on my facebook. :D

I prefer Facebook. There's games for you to play when you find yourself staring at your Facebook profile for quite some time. You can check friends' updates or even chat with them in Facebook. I do have a twitter account but I left it untouched for ages (just exaggerating but I didn't touch it for i-don't-know-how-long. xD) There's nothing to do but reading friends' updates, re-tweets ... It's interesting to see why people would tweet every 5 minutes. haha~ It gets boring when you see " 100 following. 0 Followers". (Just like what the other mylotter said.) Hmmm, I had a few followers but I don't have the motivation to tweet every 5 minutes. Thus, I GAVE UP! No more twitter for me~~~
If you're a frequent updater, I guess Twitter might be another good choice for you. ^^ That's what I feel.

They're different focuses.
Facebook has better 'hangout'-feel - it's a funner place to spend time.
unless you're more of a 'people-watcher,' which is what Twitter is for - watching people do what they do.

it is hard to say since both sites are more likely different .
Facebook is really for more socializing with games , photos (many) etc etc,
while in twitter , it is more likely a status updates only.
but i suggest you register twitter and connect it to your facebook.
so everytime you plan to share something in twitter. it will show as a status in facebook.
by the way , dont forget to use tweetdeck.
