I am thinking to redeem Ocean Park end of 2011. But I was thinking if its really worth it. Because I saw the advertisement on the TV. Its only a big aquarium with tons of school of fishes and variety of sea creatures. Is that all? What else I could see there? How much it will cost to enter Ocean Park if I will not redeem it from Globe Rewards?

Yes Globe rewards can give that to us. Just like when I redeem my reward points in Enchanted Kingdom for 3 tickets.

I am not familiar with Ocean Park, but it could be interesting, if you are interested in sea life. Maybe you can learn more about it by searching online.

I've not see the Ocean Park yet either but my little twins had and they so enjoyed. The photos of them are inviting and as per their description. It looks like the place is worth visiting. I think the price of ticket depends on the season. If off season I think it is cheaper but during peak season I think it is 350 or 450 pesos each person.

Ocean Park is one place in the Metropolis that I want to take a visit. I love looking at aquarium and I don't know how it is to see those beautiful sea creatures roaming around at your head. I want to experience scuba diving to see those colorful fishes in the ocean but I don't know how to swim so I might just satisfy myself looking at them at the Ocean Park. I will surely bring the whole family there when I get extra budget for our recreation.

There are various benefits you can get from Ocean Park not only a fishes, as I know (not yet go there may be this coming March). P400 pesos I think entrance for every customer. You can know some of the species of fishes that you are not familiar and their kinds.. see you around

Hi there! Ocean park is a refreshing and soothing place where you can be with a special friend or family. Different sea creatures and fishes are always refreshing and pleasant to the eyes. What's in ocean park? Not just the big aquarium. There's also restaurants there and food chains, souvenir shops and there are additions like you can watch a play there. If I am not mistaken, Entrance fee is P500 for the adults. You can likewise mingle with the fishes in an astronaut suit like (can't remember what to call that suit) for P900. I think. It is worth it. So go for it.

I am not sure which Ocean Park you referred to, but I think most Ocean Parks are worth to visit. You can see various kinds of ocean creatures inside, which you can't normally see them in the real life. You can check online to see more information about the Ocean Park you are going to. I am sure many travellers will leave comments or write articles about it. I love China

maybe if the year 2009 still remains around 20,000 per person if the ride might not jump high.

Wow..... ocean paaaaarks. (but till now i haven't visited, have to visit). In india, goa is a place where majority of the tourists are visiting. Ocean parks are very much entertaining to the children. syoti, you only wanna visit the ocean park singly or with your family?

Hello there! Me and my hubby went to Manila Ocean Park a year ago and I really enjoyed it much! Well,I really wanted to see sharks and I did, haha! It's a great feeling to finally see a shark swimming in my own eyes! There are lots of different fishes and jellyfishes at the park. And I heard, you can now go swim with the fish as their added fun in the park! You will learn many things about ocean life and it's really educational! I suggest if you have kids, let them go with you. As for dining, there are lots of restaurants and fastfoods available inside tha park and outside as well so you don't have to worry about food! There are also plenty of stores where you can buy souvenirs of the Ocean Park! As for the entrance fee,I remember we paid 450.00 each,it's worth it! Well,I say this 'cause I really love seeing big and amazing fish especially sharks!

I was there at Manila Ocean Park a couple of months back. I cant remember the exact amount we paid but it was definitely less than 500 pesos. More like between 350-500. Our ticket already included the entrance for the 6 or 7 pm show. The show is really for kids. Display of "dancing fountains" and lights and some sea characters. It was fun but it's not really for adults. If you have kids going with you, they might enjoy it. As for the Ocean Park itself, yes, it's just a display of several aquariums and 1 giant aquarium were you walk below them and see the creatures from there. If you appreciate something like this to pass time, I think you'll find it pretty neat. You won't ooh and aah but it's the best we've got here in the Philippines. =)

There's fish spa and there's fountain show at night (not sure if they still have that after Holidays). It costs 400 pesos per person if my memory serves me right. Kids would love the place bec yeah its a big aquarium. The fresh water fishes were creepy! Imagine a huge tilapia. Yikes!

Hi, Syoti. :) We tried to visit the Ocean Park last two weeks ago but sadly, they are only open up to 6:30 p.m. We went there past that time.:( I'm not really sure what to see inside, but my friend said that the fishes are truly amazing and I think you can play with the fish inside the aquarium. You have to pay a hefty amount of Php 650.00 or $16.00 to get inside. There are also restos there that when I check the menu offers expensive food per serving. Check it out and come back here to let us know what you found and if it was all worth it.

It depends on what you enjoy. I like looking at fishes - that is why I dive. But my vertigo has prevented me from getting back to this sport so I just content myself with places like this. The entrance fee is about Php350 without the Light and Sounds Show. But from your post, I take it this is not your thing. Why don't you look at your other options?
