Do you use RO water filter or simple water filter?

As to me, I have been using simple water filter until recently. When our water filter cartridge got jammed I called the customer care. They send a man and he showed that our tap water has 265+ TDS (total dissolved solid) and water purified with simple water filter has 180+ TDS. After that I purified water with RO water purifier and it contained only 23 TDS. So, he told that it is not use replacing the water purifier cartridge and tried to persuade me into buying an RO. What do you think? should I buy RO or simple water filter will do?

Actually we use kent RO system, it has UV filter too.I live in noida which is in uttar pradesh the biggest problem here is that we have hard water which is salty so an RO system is a must use here

yah..thats good....kent is a good purifier ...I want to install it ..but it's ok with normal purifier in west benlal

I think you should by RO for the filter water. In my home we just change our filter cartilage though I get almost purified water from our tube well.
