Foods from Countryside

China

As winter vacation comes, I've come back to my hometown, a small town. My aunt's family lives in a countryside nearby. They feed poultries and grow vegetables there. Believe or not, foods from there are extremely delicious, even cooked without any seasoning. Meat are more fresh and savory, vegetables are as sweet as sugar. All of them greatly get up my appetite. So, have you ever taken foods from countryside?

In fact, I grew up in a small town in the countryside too. I still remember the life there, cool, refreshing, relaxing, pleasant environment. Yes, I still very much remember the freshness of the foods there. I am not a vegetarian, but I like vegetables very much. Living in the countryside has all possiblilites to enjoy many different kinds of veggies. My relatives are still living there, and I visit them whenever I can, and they know I am coming for veggies !!!!

Yes, foods from the countryside or from the province is a lot tastier than those grown in the city. This is because in the countryside, they use natural fertilizers and they get to breath fresh air too. Even the chickens that have grown of natural origin are a lot tastier. You can even cook them with lots of soup unlike those that were raised by feeding them with feeds laden with boosters. Vegetables are a lot crispier and sweeter, you can even eat them raw. It's healthy eating those foods from the countryside!

You bet! the best fruits I've tasted in my life were those we got climbing trees rather than the expensive ones my mother bought in the market. When I was in my twenties, my mother and my uncle decided to send me and my brother to the province to learn the ways of our ancestors because we were city ratsand that is what we were, we caught fish using bamboo traps and caught fresh water shrimps using rotten coconut meat as bait, wow! they were so delicious just with sea salt and no condiments that I still dream of it up to now

Life in the province is very nice. The surroundings are cool, peaceful and free from pollution. Vegetables, fruits, fish, milk, meat, among others are fresh and very safe, delicious and nutritious to eat. Honestly, I would love to settle permanently in the province than in the city where I presently work. I get to come home to the province once a year. If I only have enough resources like a piece of land where I can use for farming or grow livestock or fishpond and sufficient funds, I would never work in the city. Well, all of these, are actually meaningful entries in my wish list.
