My son is 8yrs old and he plays with her from the time he get out of school until bedtime. When it is bedtime she still wants to play. Can anyone tell me what I can do to calm her down? She gets really aggravating when she wants to play. I hate putting her in the cage but she just wont sit down..HELP!!

Eskimo Spitz are extremely hyper dogs by nature. They are going to need a lot of exercise during the day. It's great your son plays with her after school, but that's just not enough. Do you have a fenced yard? If you do, you could let her otu there to play and run. But she won't always want to be by herself...you could get a tennis ball you could throw for her and play catch. Or, IF you can afford it get another hyper breed (Lab, any hunting/sport breeds), and they can play with each other out in the yard all day. If you don't have fenced yard, someone needs to take the dog on one long walk in the middle of the day, or two shorter walks spread out (1 in morning, 1 in evening. You could even hire someone to talk the dog if you don't have the time (check our the site www.care.com ) Good luck!
