My discussion is not in top discussion list

Daily i checked the top listed discussion in mylot but not any of my discussion is in top list.
why?? even the discussion has many responses is also not in top list? now i am very sad. is your any discussion is in top list? if yes please share you experience about which topic is in top list or rated or anything else is requirement of top discussion.

Welcome to the club, I've never made the top discussion of the day club, regardless of how many responses my discussions garter. If I got 17 responses I would miss the top discussion of the day by 1 or 2 responses. I don't know the secret of getting to the top I guess you just have to keep trying and one day you might get lucky it's like winning the lottery. ...

why are you even c aring as when you get y our discussion in the top
discussions you do NOT GET ANY MONEY FOR IT. so forget it . I have been there four times in three years and I did not even care.you do not get paid for it being there so why would you want to be there. you are not winning anything or not any better off.you must have some idea its a popularity contest., its not even that.there is no secret and getting to the top does not help in a ny way so why worry.if you d o get there you get there and nobody is going to give you a prize or any extra money. keep mylotting as thats where you earn.in the lottery you d o win money here you do not so why care about it? .loll loll loll.

Hatley, I'm not worrying about making the top discussion of the day, I was just telling sameer786 how I felt about it, but, it would be nice to see my discussion up there even if I don't get paid for it. The recognition alone is good enough for me. I guess it is no big deal when you made it to the top four times.......

A few years i am a member and now my balance still is 2,43U$.
A few days ago i wrote news topics, answered various topics but won only 2 cents.

Mine have not to the top listed discussion either.
You know what, when my post got more than 10 responses, i will feel happy with it. Some posts got too many responses because it attracted lots of mylotters interests. Of course, i also want my post can got to the top listed discussion. But don't care about that too much if we can't do that.
And by the way, i hope this post of yours can make it for you. Because it has already attracted lots of people interestes.

I have often wondered how a top discussion is chosen. I have seen discussions with several responses not in the top discussion list and was puzzled by this. I have also seen discussions with hardly any response make it to the top discussion list. when you start a discussion, you just never know where you may find it.1 person likes this

I'm not also sure how it works but I saw one of my discussions there once.
I don't think that there is something special on my discussion either. :(

No one is sure about this because no one knows what the criteria of top disussion, if your discussion is listed in top so congrates.

Maybe one of your discussions was there and you didn't noticed it?
I've noticed that it changes from time to time, maybe others just didn't noticed.
I noticed my though twice now.
And I read it is about how people rate the discussion? But still not sure. :)

hi take it from an old timer here you do not earn anything just because your discussion is not posted in the top ten. my g there are 200.000 users here so how could all of us ever have one of our discussions posted in the top. you do not make one cent for having it there. i would be more concerned with my mylot reputation as that does have to do with
our earnings the higher our reps the better we earn. forget worrying about being in the top discussions. I have been here over three years and have been there twice so what. it does not pay you anything if thats your concern. I had over 100 responses to one of my discussions and so what it still was not in the top discussions and know what I could not care less.it just does not worry me one bit.

Wow 100 responses of a disussion, it should be in top list, you are right you are here from 3 years and i am from 2 months,i think in 3 years may be i will see one of my disussion in top list.

well, i have start very few discussions but never has it hit the "top discussion" list and i don't care about it as much. i think it is up to the moderator to choose the discussion cause when the topic is in top discussion, i have seen that only 2-5 replies are given by people there.
Just enjoy the discussion and responses that you give. paying too much attention to such a thing in mylot might bring your spirits down sameer :)

Hello Sameer, as i know, it takes time one discussion to fill with responds, as i know the section, where you can see "top" is moving too fast, as some other sections too, so may be that's the reason you don't see your discussions there.
Also the name is important "Today's top", so in every moment someone here post a discussion, in every moment our discussions develop more and more answers, also we live in different time zones than Mylot...
I don't have explanation which is 100% valid, just guessing what it would be.

May br you are right when i checked, my discussion is not in top list, but we should know the criteria of top disussion, i see many discussion in top list which have 2 0r 3 responses but the discussion which have 15 or more responses are not in top.

I also check mine and wonder why isn't it getting on the top discussions. Maybe it gas something to do with who responds to your discussions. Maybe if a user that has a high rating responded on your discussion, maybe it has a chance of getting on the top discussions list. Or maybe it has something to do with your rating as a user. I have no solid idea.

I think here in mylot, no one has the idea that which discussion is in top list, it is a puzzel, lets see who can solve it.

None of mine too till date. I too wanna know. For a particular discussion of mine, i had 16 responses under it and when i checked the top discussions for that day, they hardly had 5 to 6 responses. This thing still puzzles me a lot.

Your discussion is on the top list now~~ I just refreshed the top list and saw your discussion. I think the top list is just a list of the new discussions which have just started and the discussions have a lot of responds in a certain period. Don't be sad if your discussions are not in the top list. There are so many people communicating here at the same time, only a few of them can appear on the top list. And those discussion on the top list are just the lucky ones. Cheer up buddy~~ Besides, you have your top list discussion now~~ Keep working and you will have more top discussions~~

Thanks a lot dear, after reading your response i checked the top list and i find my discussion there, and still i have any idea that why it is in top list, may be you are right and also other responser right that its about timing or new started disussions.
