What was the first thing you bought for yourself on your 1st ever pay check?

It was a long time ago, but I think I bought a pair of jeans. I remember being in an apartment, and my roommates moving out which left me to pay for their share of the apartment. And I remember getting the job just in time, for me to pay the next month's rent. After getting all the bills paid, all I had left was money to get myself a new pair of jeans.

It was either candy or a hermit crab. I don't remember.

Yes I remember my very first paycheck and the excitement it brought me to hold the check in my hand, but the feeling did not last long as my foster mother used it to pay a utility bill. I remember this well as it was not a happy feeling remembering the long hours I apply at my first job and having to sign it over to her.

Since it was quite a few years ago, I certainly can't remember what I used it on, or even if I did spend it. I did save my money back then like I do now, so if I did spend it, it probably was quit a long time afterwords. Even now, when I get money put in my paypal, I will eventually put it in my bank account, and more than likely help pay some of my bills. I know that when I was working years ago, I was a very happy camper, and was finally making money on my own, and it felt good. I must say now though, that I am working online, I am just as giddy about it as I was then, and I am a grandma now. I just enjoy making money and spending it no matter what, but I do try to save it as well, as much as I can. Take care, and have a very good day.

Yup, I still remember what I buy with my first pay. I bought myself a pair of nike soccer boots model R9 which was used by Ronaldo. I love that boot very much and feel confident of my ability when I used that boot. It just so fit at my feet it just like I am barefooted. During my time when I first receive my pay which is in the year 2000, the electronic technologies is not like now. There are no even a colour handphone not to say digital camera. Computer that time is window 2000 with intel pentium 2 processor. And most of the electronics are very expensive that time.

Wow so many years ago. My first pay check not much. I just finished high school and wore glasses. So I bought contact lens. At that moment, people rarely wear contact lens. So I was very happy to have one :)

I only started working about a month ago, and although I didnt make much I put it towards some money I had been saving, and i bought myself a gorrrrggeeooussss leather jacket :D I like to think of that as what i bought with my first pay check :)
