High Speed DSl & slow myLot

you wouldnt believe this, but it has taken me over 4 minutes to get on to this screen . and now i am typing away and its all delayed, i am seeing a blank screen!!normally it is quite good , but tonight it is absolutley sloooooow. i know if i download pix, it does take a long time, but it also takes a long time to down load on facebook too. but tonight was just a joke, unless its a little in joke from mylot for your posting !!

hi Grandpa Bob I have jackrabbit express cable from t me warner at 41.99 per month and its zipping through all the other sites but here on mylot it takes minutes not seconds of time to load. I goose mylot admins by hitting contact and complaining about how slow it is and ask if they are doing this deliberately to save having to pay so much money to us as we cannot do much when we sit and wait minutes to load a page and often it takes our responses and goes off into never never land with them. then for awhile mylot really does speed up, but it does not last and I really now am wondering if they do this to cut down on hom much we can earn lol lol.

You are right. MyLot loads pretty slowly, but some of my other earning and social sites do as well. I do not, or have not, put up many pictures. That is something I need to do. I was telling a friend last night that she needs to load pictures to the site as well.

Yes....at times it is very slow loading...and then there are the times when you go to post and Internet explorer can't locate the page or it's unavailable! That is very frustrating!

I have fiber optic and everything is fast except myLot! It seems to take forever once you hit submit on a reply and about 10% of the time you'll get an error message which means you lost your reply. I usually copy/paste before I hit submit so I don't lose anything! I agree, they need a better server. Maybe they'll remedy that when their contract runs out with the one they have, if that's how it works.

I have Comcast and pretty expensive but it is the only service my building accepts I am glad also as it is speedier than Gonzalez. But here in myLot is like a turtle but only during times of the day. I have noticed that when the server resets and again when the earnings are updated. I too believe it is a server issue but apparently myLot is either okay with it or maybe it is too costly.

I have cable and hardly ever have trouble with pages loading except here in myLot. I think I'd do more here if it was faster. As tired as my old brain is sometimes, by the time I get to where I can post, I forget what I was going to say.

only sometimes not all the time but found if the load slow they wont load at all and have to write everything all over again

I only find mylot slow when i am tagging or photo loading otherwise mylot is pretty fast for me its sother sites that make it slow for me.

I'm not sure what is considered slow, but it seems like I wait a long time between finishing a response and the tags page and then again for it to go back to the discussion. And, we have cable!!! I am sure some of it is the age of the computer being used combined with the amount of graphics being loaded combined with how many users are on at the same time. Beyond that, I have no idea.

Hi. Grandpa Bob! Yes, I have noticed this too. It can be like this at times. Sometimes, I am thinking that it is my computer's connection that is doing this, but it is not. When we had the Roadrunner services, it would go by faster. But now, it can be in and out sometimes. I hope that you will be able to get a faster connection very soon.

I agree with you my Internet speed is very fast just my lot sometimes have slow moments and e page takes it's sweet time I usually run into this problem when I post something like a responses or discussion sometimes I even get an error message but hey nothing i can do haha. Maybe it is the sever if it is then a new interface for the site will be very nice like they did in the past about 2 years ago lolbor less I'm not sure but they did some good changes and some more changes will be nice haha . But i don't know what it is sometimes the pages load up a little too slow and take just a little to long it gets annoying after awhile. I do recommend that people that can copy and paste to copy and paste your post just to be safe sometimes because it can to take to longand sometimes you have to refresh the page and if not if it takes way to long you post was never post if you get a error message on your browser. But double check to make sure it post just invade because if you popst the same ting more then once i think my lot deletes both haha. Happy posting to you too :)

Hmmm, I didn't experience such slow speed from AT&T DSL service, and also I didn't experience such slow speed from Clear now, the ISP I am having now. Maybe it was the problem with your DSL provider, or whether the moment you log into mylot is slower. I hope that you speed will be improved.

I am quite satisfied on the part in uploading photos. I am also a DSL user.

Yep I agree, mylot can be slow at times. I try to have patience and just plug along.

Hello Grandpa Bob, It's way different in my case, i decided to downgrade my speed just to keep paying it a month. but the loading for mylot is not different compare before. but i am getting used to it though. slow loading page is something i had experience already. But with so many users every day i think its logical to get used to it. i think mylot needs to upgrade their servers instead in my opinion. have a nice day.

I don't know why : when I test the connection, the results are good -- I have fiber optic, but I use for myLot my netbook+Wifi, more slow than my desktop connection -- but the server is often slow. I think that I have more errors when posting a response than last year, so I am doing like many old users : copy/paste is great .
