I'm surprised there aren't more soccer fans on here and not more soccer discussions here! I thought that on a big site like this there would be a lot of soccer fans. Do soccer fans just not know about this site, or do they want to stick to more soccer specific discussion sites?

Are you from the US cause coming from the UK we always heard that soccer isn't as big in America as it is in the UK and when it comes to mylot I don't know a single person from the UK whos knows of mylot. This could have something to do with the lack of soccer discussions or also like me who is a fan of soccer I prefer to discuss other topics on mylot rather than football (soccer) lol. As I can talk to anyone I know about football all day every day.

I'm also from the UK and I always hear people exaggerating that the fanbase is a lot less than it actually is over in the US. It's always becoming more popular and although it can't compete with the likes of the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB it is still a lot more popular than people give it credit for.

Maybe mylot just doesn't have the population needed to represent the views of soccer. I myself can only go on what I've heard about soccer in the USA maybe it is just like everyone says an exaggeration but for mylot I don't believe it has a massive fan base albeit it is quite a big amount of people on one site. So finding soccer fans in the population just may be hard to do. I personally avoid talking about soccer on here so could just be a lot of people that don't bother with soccer on here. No real definitive answer.

I also agree I thought it would have many football fans, althought I find this item cost much because I was looking for him as football and even long after it look like soccer maybe thats why some have not gotten into this good luck....

I think there are quite a fair number of soccer fans here. But I think the fans here are more sane unlike in some other sites whereby the comments are plenty but most of them are senseless and rival team bashing. Another point to know is that, I believe a huge chunk of the members here are from the US and as you know, soccer ain't big there.

Don't be surprised, because many people just watch the game, without knowing too much about it. They are just "tourists" who only watch great games, and if they visit a stadium, they do it just to have something to show up. And of course, there is the fact that not many football followers and people who like this wonderful game don't know about this site or are not willing to join.

I know why it is like tt. First of all, most of the people join my lot to earn extra money. And out of the total mylot user which I don't how many, very few of them join mylot to discuss about soccer and maybe there will be accidentally soccer fans join mylot like "US" here and start talking a bit about soccer. Secondly, when talking about football, most of them rather make their own blog talking about their supported team, like me also which have my own Arsenal Blog, where they can interact with the supporters around the world that share the same passion with them.

I believe it's because people don't know mylot at all. I believe every soccer fan wants to express his or her opinion about their soccer team, recent match results, etc. Sadly most users are from USA, and in USA its far more popular baseball or "football". I'm quite sure I am the only uruguayan that discusses soccer even though here in Uruguay soccer is the most important and popular sport.

It would be great to have more soccer discussions on here, At the moment I seem to see one thing, comment and then there's not much else for a while.
