So nice to see you here...little Alberta clipper! You have had quite a spate of bone-chilling weather, haven't you? we had a coupla dumps of snow...one big one, well over a foot (unusual for here on the West Coast) and now we are living up to our name...WET Coast..NOT West Coast! Not many times I am thankful I live on a hill, but sure am right now...as many are being flooded. Hope all is well with you, dear lady. So glad you dropped by! Cheers!

I saw this on my friends facebook last week and I could not believe it when my husband and I worked out our birthdays and our parents and all end up 111. I am not superstitious but this gives even me the creeps! Does it mean something? Or just a massive coincidence, I do not know.
Hold on it doesn't work for my children, son born 2009 so that only equals 11 daughter born 2010 so this only equals 11.

For those born in 2000 up to present the result will always be 11, I think.

hi bunnybon I just did that with my age and the last two digits of my birth year and he was right, how about that. amazing I wonder how that
works , or do I mean why it works? at a little past 6:30 am I am just about half awake. I am not nor have I ever been a morning person. alas I am doomed here we are woke at six for supposed breakfast at 7 which usually more like 7:45 or later, why not get up at 7 and eat at 8, that would be a tad more humane on elderly and not so elderly people. But I
figure that is just for the benefit of the kitchen staf f . things are it seems to me seldom done for the benefit of us who pay for all this stuff.

Don't be freaked out. It's just some math trick and some number play. There are really weird things when it comes to math like the constant pi which has endless decimal digits. You'll find lots of weird things with mathematics.

Mine's 85 plus 26 so that's 111 too.:-) Those dates you mentioned are said to be lucky days to get married.

Numbers supposedly hold some power for some but I've never been able to see any significance. The numbers that are supposed to be lucky for me aren't and I think in truth there are simply too many variables to be able to read anything - sinister or wonderful - into any numbers.

How freaky! I send a friend an email on 1-1-11 and he wrote back that is was so cool to see this and all. I hadn't even thought about it. The 111 thing was interesting. Numbers are fun. Sybil Leek was a big believer in numerology as well as her witchy stuff. She was a cool lady. Wrote and article on her.

Okay, so someone has got to tell me what I'm doing wrong here. I took my age plus the last two digits of the year that I was born in and I came up with 110. I'm 30 years old and I was born in 1980. Tried it with my husband and came up with 110 he is 35 years old and born in 1975. I get 10 for my son born in 06 and 4 years old and 10 for my daughter born in 02 and 8 years old. Where am I screwing up that this seems to work for everyone but me? I worked through my entire family and the only 111 that I came up with was for my mother who is 54 years old and born in 1957

honey, its the age you are going to be in this year. in other words you WILL be 31 this year when your birthday comes. now the kids, born after 2000, will only add to 11. hugs, bon

What do I think? First, things like this are fascinating.
Second, SOMEONE has to much time on their hands to figure all this out!

Hello my friend, yes it works, I was born in 1971, I will be 40 this year and OMG yes 111. I find it fascinating how it works and a lot of people are really into this stuff with numbers, dates and how things work out. I digress slightly I was and still am a BIG Star Wars fan and I liked the way they brought out one of the films on May 4th and entitled it May the 4th be with you! Great pun. I guess the next set of dates would be 2-2-22, but without freaking you out any more, I actually believe we won't reach that date and that 2012 will be the end of days.

I am not much into numerology
so far astrology has given me much of what I need to know
follow the moon phase, the sign where it falls, and the aspects it makes to your natal planets and angles
there are sites where you can read them for free and they post in advance
I did count it with mine too and it's funny it does add up
if he knows numerology, he can tell you life path number etc for this year
2011 is definitely an interesting year, it is the year where the shift will happen
2012 is year of transition after the shift and 2013 we will start a new life
not surprised 111 (Jan 2011) is important number
although the countdown started in 2010 Fall equinox

There's nothing to be freaked about sweetie. It's just a bunch of numbers matching is all. It'll happen again in the year 2022 as well so nothing to fear my dear! lol But I do find it amusing though because it does happen like that. Plus it makes you think of the person who figured all of this out and wonder how much time do they have on their hands? lol

Hey bun! How freaky is right! Last year my birthday was 10-10-10!
There weren't any other variations, but this year your friend is
right! I happen to not be thrilled with the number 11 myself. Any
odd number years seem to be very bad luck for me and this year
has already more than proved me right! I hope it stops soon because
this is only the first month!
