Does HTC Desire have a "T version" ? Is it customized by T-mobile?

HTC desire's very popular in China now, everyone's crazy about Android system. Mobiles that are customized by German T-mobile company are called "T version" in China. People say HTC Desire also has a T-version. Is that true? If it's true, what's the T-version like? And what's the difference between the T-versoin and HTC-version? The T-version's cheaper than the HTC-version, so if it's as good as the HTC-version, I may choose the T-version. I searched the whole internet, but can't find a trusty answer. I don't want to be cheated by those profitter, cuz there're a lot of replica HTC phones in China. Thanks for your help. ))
