time spent alone

I do like my alone time as well as in the company of others. However there are days I so wish I was completely alone simply to be at complete silence and concentration, even if it means to take a simple nap. LOL..

hi, yeah you're right being alone is not always boring, and i even more like it sometimes to be alone because thats the time that i could think and do what i want alone.sometimes im just tired to talk with someone. and sometimes i just want to listen and watch movies alone is more enjoyable.

I could not consider myself as a loner, but oftenly, yes, I want more to spend time alone, for I can do whatever I want without someone bossing me around. I usually have fun shopping alone, going in a nearby beach without companion. I want spending time reading a nice and interesting book. Sometimes just simply listening to music will do to say that I'm enjoying my life. Being alone does not mean that someone is lonely. There are people too who enjoys life being alone rather than having people around. And nothing wrong about that. People varies in preferences.

when im stressed out or when im under depression I prefer spending time alone somewhere far from home and and give my mind at rest.

When I have time, I enjoy playing game, watching movies, listening music, reading books, and go out to meet my friends. I like doing these things because I feel good doing them. They give me inner strength and fills me with joy. I like doing my hobbies and they are my best time pass. Sometimes I do spend my time alone in a temple or in a garden when I need to think about myself. I think and plan for my life during that time. It helps me to think over my weakness or the things which I need to improve. I also plan out what and how I will do to achieve my goals. It rejuvenates me and I start again for a new goal in life.

I am a person who has no problem with solitude. In fact I lived alone for a long time until very recently. People often ask me if I get bored. I tell them I don't because I have lots of things to do. Living along, I have to do household chores all by myself. I also love books so I often spend my time reading. I play the guitar sometimes, or play scrabble (by myself!) People usually think my life is boring, but I'm having a good time. I can go out and be with people and have fun, but I also enjoy just being alone.

I would most likely want to spend my time alone most of the time..I don't find it boring but in fact I find it more peaceful for me. away from noise and would just enjoy plenty of time to thinking and analyzing my life.. being alone means peace of mind to me..

I do agree with you, as I too enjoy spending time alone. I don't think that it's always pleasant to have to spend time with other people all the time. I have just as much fun being by myself, as I do when I'm spending time with friends and family.

I spend a lot of time"alone" actually I take care of my son who was injured in an accident. HE doesn't speak so even though I am not alone I am pretty much alone! An aid comes in the mornings so I can run errands. I guess that's my "alone" time.. I go running first and then to the store for whatever I may be needing.

On Sundays , my rest day from the office, after my husband and i (my daughter is on a far away city studying ) have attended the Sunday Mass and have done some marketing, i will be alone in the house. My husband reports to work after that since he works in a mall. I have the rest of the day for myself and i use it wisely. I would clean our bedroom then after lunch i would do some pedicure ,bible reading and then watching of TV. I really enjoy my solitude and it never bores me.
